River Of Beer

Finding this place was the highlight of our weekend. Cozy & warm with wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. The service is beyond wonderful. The drinks & food were delicious...not your typical bar food frozen fried food but fresh & SO tasty. Honestly a true gem without the jacked up prices.
Oh yeah they have brunch on Sundays :)

I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was all delicious (chicken quesadilla & blt)! They were so busy but the staff stayed consistently kind and attentive. I cannot wait to go back this weekend.

Can't say enough good things about this place after all this time, and my friends and family going their regularly. I finally got down there for a family event and absolutely loved it. Staff is a beat and attentive. Food is very good!
A great hideaway in the center of Bloomingdale NJ - family friendly too with a party room upstairs. Although their tables there for additional seating, we felt very accommodated

I've been there 3 times now. They have amazing burgers and food selections. Very high-quality bar food. The service is very fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend 👌.

Always a good idea to visit River of Beer. The food is great, they have an excellent selection of beers, and the staff is friendly. The real star of the show is their outdoor river side dining setup. It is truly lovely. Their restaurant is also beautiful and very clean, but I'm counting down to the outside dining days.
We are never disappointed with this place.

Our favorite local spot, River of Beer never disappoints! The food is outstanding, the cocktails and beer selection are very nice, the people and atmosphere are very fun. My fiancée and I go pretty much once a week, I can never get enough of the poutine :D

One of the best outdoor dining restaurants in the area. They have a beautiful river side outdoor dining area, with an additional tent to sit under during the warmer months. They also have a fire pit with communal seating that is open year round. Owner and staff are very friendly, and they are dog friendly outside. Food is always good, and they have a decent sized tap list as well

A hidden gem In the middle of Bloomingdale, NJ. Fantastic tasting food and friendly service. The Gobblers appetizer should be illegal it was so good. Fred’s Dip and the Jersey burger were just as good. All well prepared food with great flavor. The garlic Parmesan fries were absolutely crazy good! This restaurant/bar is right across from the post office and can be easily missed. A very nice outdoor dining area. Highly recommend for there great tasting food and service.

Excellent music, good beer, hummus made in house, huge outdoor seating with live music, trivia, and bingo throughout the week! Right by the water, dog friendly, and they were very sweet to the pup. Absolutely will recommend and come back!

The food here is delicious and a really good selection of beer. Very happy with my dine in experience. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They have a patio but it was too hot to eat outside. They have a brunch menu on Sunday. We arrived at 1215pm. I had wings and the Spaghetti Squash that had feta, balsamic vinaigrette, tomatoes, pesto, and olive oil. Absolutely delicious. So glad I found this place.

We had a great little table next to the river. Entire staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Great drink selection, beer and cocktails. Food was delicious.

Wow. This place did not disappoint! Beer was amazing. We had the black bean balls, French onion soup, and hummus platter. All was delicious and atmosphere and service were both excellent…would highly recommend!

Really great food, the turkey bites were recommended and did not disappoint! Like a Thanksgiving meal rolled into a ball. The drinks were creative and oh so good. Fun place!

Love the bartenders here. Suggested cocktails and wings were delicious (light sweetness) w/maple. Atmosphere is upbeat and perfect on a pre summer day

The place was lively. Bartenders were very attentive. The menu had some great offerings. I decided to stay with a burger and fries. Would definetly go back.

Amazing food! You’ve got to come here. There poutine fries are to die for. The sautéed mushrooms are indescribable because the flavors are out of this world. Finally, the provolone sticks...what a surprise. The flavor train continues. I didn’t even try the sauce because the flavor blew my mind. Then onto the burger and guacamole...if I died tonight. It would be a good death. Finally, Fred, our waiter, rocked. Great service. I’ll be back :)

Great service and staff, menu is limited but decent. The beer list is very good, mostly regional, and they also make good cocktails with an well curated list.
The bar is small, but intimate and there is a second floor and outdoor space.

Just an absolute great place. The bartenders/mixologists are amazing. Knowledgeable, and explaining what they are doing is welcomed. Constantly turning over their taps. It's a definite stop in.. OFTEN!
