Lakeside Diner

Great experience! Terrific food in a traditional Jersey diner. And their Manhattan Clam Chowder, a favorite of mine, was the best I've had anywhere - even in NYC! We also had the bowl of steamed little neck clams. Tender, fresh and with enough butter garlic bread, to share as an appy or alone as a meal.

The owner was pleasant and solicited feedback from customers. Way to go!

The food is very good. But what is even better is the owner Chris. He takes his business very seriously. Each time I go in to pick my food up I observe him speaking with the customers and making sure that everything is running smooth. He is very approachable and friendly. So if you have a special request for your food you can be assured he will make sure it's taken care of.

Great food, great staff and generous portions. My wife and I eat there 3 to 4 times a week. Sometimes more . The best breakfast in town.

This diner us clean, bright and airy. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. We've been here 4 or 5 times and the food has always been good.
Just to note some dishes, the lemon chicken soup was delicious, and the chef salad was huge and fresh.

My fiance and I are at the Lakeside Diner two days in a row. We ordered breakfast both times. Food was great both days. Just make sure if you order bacon and hash browns and want them crispy, don't say extra crispy. Just tell them crispy. The staff were very nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend Lakeside Diner and eat there again anytime.

Arthur and I both ordered turkey dinners. The all white meat turkey was delicious, along with the stuffing. We enjoyed the real mashed potatoes, and the fresh baby string beans. We each took half of the enormous portion home, along with a giant slice of delectable carrot cake. Service was great! Our friendly waitress was kind and efficient.

We had our breakfast there and it was just oerfect place for it!! Great choice of breakfasts, specials, pancakes, eggs, etc. Big plates, rather say enormous!:) my husband and I ordered special no 11,12 and 6 and we together could not finish it, two would be just enough for us. Pancakes are somethink special, if you are pancake-lover as me you should definitely try it here! Great service and nice prices are just another advantage of this place. Highly recommend!

Ordered over the phone. Very helpful and arrived quickly. My mom had an operation so I wanted her to have a meal delivered! She said it was delicious. Ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs. Portions were huge and she really enjoyed it! Garlic bread was awesome! Great price, great food, prompt delivery! Thank you..we will order again!

Cute diner reminds me of when I used to go to king George diner in wayne with my grandparents... staff is friendly, some more attentive than others our waiter is and was great his ne is Roberto he is awesome!(will have to get his name next visit) there is a young guy always walking around on his phone I often wonder what his purpose is but at least the owner walks around and checks on tables to make sure everyone is good. I believe they should make a petite menu I see way to many patrons throw away their food and it gets upsetting since so many live without the things we have but that is my opinion. We look forward to going back when possible . And a word to those whether its here or anywhere have some patience when the establishment is busy.

This is a review specific to Thanksgiving catering, which was absolutely fantastic. Delivered hot and on time, Chris was super accommodating and great to work with. Had food for 35 and everyone agreed it was excellent. We will cater from here again for sure! Thank you!!

We tried out this diner on the way home from the Victorian Christmas at Ringwood Manor, and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Great food, great staff, and best of all, we got to see the real Santa Claus and Mrs Claus! The kids loved it! We're coming back to this diner the next time we're in town, for sure.

I thought my food was very good, and the portion was enormous. I took home enough for another meal. The service was fine. It's not a big deal, but it irks me that they charge a 4% fee to use a credit card. They are making a profit off this fee, as it more than covers their actual costs.

Cute little diner we found in a quiet town. My husband and I were looking at houses and stopped in for a quick bite before our movie date in Wayne, NJ. They have a good variety of gluten free options. Place is clean, staff are welcoming, and food is great. Great place to visit.

Coffee was strong!!! We also ordered their homemade corned beef & hash, which is excellent. 😋

Our waitress, Talia was amazing very sweet and a lot of patience and we never had to look for her if we needed something.
I ordered the little neck steamers, which were delicious. My kids and the rest of our family was happy with their food as well.

Delicious and good atmosphere.

This place is truly a gem in Ringwood NJ. I brought my kids here. Coffee was not your typical diner one. It was so good. I recommend the Greek fries. They blew my mind! Good portions. We brought food home. Chris the owner was really friendly and personable.
