Great customer service, very knowledgeable! Went back years after I had a remote start installed for help diagnosing an electrical issue. The issue was unrelated to the install but they investigated it at no charge after the dealer refused to work on it until the remote start was removed. 10/10 would recommend!

Matt installed a remote start in my wife’s 2008 Mazda3 in like 2010. The remote start died about 6 or so years ago, and it wasn’t a big deal, as the lock/unlock feature worked, so never followed up on it. My bad.
Put in a new battery yesterday, and things went wacky with the electronics. Was just going to have the system removed and go on from there.
So before I did that, I stopped by and talked to Matt about what was going on.
Long story short, Matt pulled the car in, diagnosed the problem, found an old salvaged part, replaced it and fixed the whole system.
Asked how much I owed him, said nothing as he stands behind his work.
After like 14 years!

Excellent work and amazing customer service is what you can expect from Matt at Xplosive Audio N' Graphix. This place is great and will not disappoint.

Overall Matt did a good job installing a triple channel dash camera (stating this was his first experience with a triple channel setup) in addition to hardwiring fuse-tap & placing a battery backup system under front seat for extended recording time.

A few pieces of constructive feedback to make future installs even better:

Please don’t route wires directly in front of side airbag deployment paths. I had to reseat them so they wouldn’t be in the way. This additional effort should only take a few extra minutes. The only reason I knew about the wires obstructing airbag deployment path was due to an SRS fault on my dash. Upon tear down, I found a bunch of wiring sitting on a connector which likely wiggled it loose over time. I also had 10 plus feet of wire FALL from the right side pillar when it was removed. Now I have to find replacement side pillar posts as the tabs broke off during removal. This incurs additional time & money.

Also, the installer stated he couldn’t find the microSD card which in fact was found within seconds. This caused a brand new dash camera to continuously reboot until microSD card was found and inserted after I picked it up. Unnecessary wear and tear on a brand new $1249 Camera System.

Please ensure the front facing camera isn’t obstructed by the AS-1 line as this severely reduced video quality. Please mount lower.

When running the rear video line back please either remove the headliner all together or preferably run it behind the deployment paths instead of once again obstructing the airbag. Sloppy, lazy work.

While I was easily able to fix these minor inconveniences, I expected better results given this installer charged the highest fee of all three well-known competitors in my area. The fee was $440 dollars with 5% sales tax.

Pros: Car was ready same day. Installer did not exceed initial estimate. Installer was pleasant and professional.

Had a remote starter installed and couldn't happier. Great service and price. Went back for replacement batteries and he didn't charge and changed them for free while I waited.

He does phenomenal work at a fraction of the price others charge. Great deal on the equipment he stands behind and the work he does as well. Best bang for your buck and super accommodating to scheduling so quickly too.

Matt did a great job installing our car remote starter it works great, it's been 2018. One day the remote would not work, I knew it was the battery in the remote was dead. I took it to battery + and they could not change it for me. I called Matt and he told me to stop by and see what he could do. I did a couple of days later, he change the battery and did not charge me for them. Thanks Matt for always being there when I have a question. I always recommend you to anyone who is looking for a car remote starter.

Quick story short I installed my own remote start on my Saturn. After install it would turn on and shut off right away due to security issues. I was unable to figure out what was going on. After calling a few other audio shops in the valley I was disappointed. I was informed there was nothing they could do seeing I installed my own remote start. And they said the only way to fix this was to bring it to them to have them install their own remote start. Without taking no for an answer I called Matt at Xplosive audio. Matt immediately talked me threw what I needed it was an inexpensive module that he sold to me and programmed for me and also printed off a schematic for me. Next time I will just leave it to the pros at Xplosive to complete my job. Matt was not only professional but made sure the job got done. I would most likely recommend this company to anyone the owner is so helpful and cares about his customers. I will be back!

Had a remote start installed about 1.5yrs ago by Matt at Xplosive Audio. Recently the key fobs would not start my van, so I called Matt to ask what was going on, as it had been working great. He told me the batteries were dead and told me to stop in and he would replace them, which he did. I asked what I owed and he said 'no charge", you don't get that much these days! Matt was professional and helpful and didn't make me feel like a dork for not knowing it was the batteries. I would 100% recommend Xplosive Audio for all your car audio and remote start etc needs. I just purchased a brand new 2023 vehicle and the manufacturer hasn't made a remote start available as an option yet. And I didn't want to wait a few months until one was available from the factory and the price for it would be over $500 with only having a range of 300 to 500 feet max.
Most importantly I chose Explosive Auto because I knew Matt is an expert having upmost pride in the work that he does and his reputation means everything to him.
So because of his many years in the business and Explosive Auto's earned reputation I chose to go there so I didn't have to worry about warranty issues or electrical problems down the road that possibly could occur with another place of business.
I purchased their basic remote start which has around a 2,000 foot range and saved myself over $200 vrs the cost of the factory remote price.
I'm very happy with my purchase.

Had a remote start installed two years ago and recently the batteries for the key fobs died as batteries do. When I arrived Matt made sure I left with two new key fobs and verified they worked before I left.
