Montgomery Discount Wine Market

This spot is conveniently located along 206 and has a sizable parking area. The layout of the store is great and I could easily find everything I needed. They have a great wine selection and a fantastic beer selection. Their whiskey selection could use some work, but they do have some good picks. Service was great and the cashier was very friendly.

This is a great liquor store and the manager always gives me great suggestions as to what to purchase. Highly recommend.

Christmas wine shopping for one and a half case of different wines. The employee confirmed that there is a 20% discount (15% for 6) but for only non sale wines (also advertised at the entrance). At check out with only not on sale items. The register/computer receipt was long with different discounts for each bottle and it was set up for confusion. After careful review, The discounts were all well less than 10% on the average and one was at 0.21%. I asked for verification and correction, all I get bask was a very rude lectures from the OWNER that he cannot give the full discount as advertised and treat me as if I am at fault on calling this out. Actually the worst part is not the discount problem. It is all about the dishonest conduct and the illegal advertising and business practices that turned a happy Christmas shopping into an extremely negative experience.

The tall white clerk with long hair claimed my 25 year old brother’s out of state ID was fake and held on to it until the police came to resolve the issue.
The store has no ID scanner and the clerk based his claim on vague “suspicion” and my brother’s description of his home address “not matching what it looks like on Google.”
This was a complete waste of time based on this clerk’s prejudice, and after a half hour of waiting we were not even offered an apology.
