I have had my haircut by Amy for years. I am a male, and I’ve had curly hair most of my life, but didn’t get it cut accordingly by someone who knew what to do with it. I found Amy a few years ago and she does an excellent job cutting curly hair. She’s always extremely personable, easy to talk to, and her skill is unquestionable. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who really knows what to do with curly hair. She was responsible for my hair on my wedding day and always makes me feel my best! Thank you Amy!

I got my first curly haircut by Amy a couple weeks ago and I am still in love with it!! She answered all my questions, and was a wealth of information. She eased all my anxiety about my appointment. I loved the privacy of the haircut but also got the traditional girl laughs during the hair wash. I look forward to seeing her again.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be back! Curly girls seeking help - Amy is your girl!! She was amazing, friendly and so talented! She asked questions about my current routine and what I wanted from my hair. She took the time to explain what she was doing, and checked with me throughout the process to see how I liked it. She also shared many tips and tricks about how to apply product, style and care for curls, etc. I'm in love with my cut and color, can't wait to go back!

This was my first Devacurl hair experience and Sam was amazing. I learned so much and can honestly say it’s the best hair cut I’ve ever had. My curls look better than they’ve ever looked. I am beyond happy!

I met with Amy for the first time today but not the last. She was everything you hope for in a stylist. She had me talk through everything about my hair; current care, products used, likes, dislikes and what I wanted from my hair now. She listened and then she explained everything she wanted to do and why. She showed me how to properly use products to get the results I wanted. She didn’t push products on me or make me feel that the only way for me to get the desired results was to use a certain brand. It was the first time I left a haircut and didn’t immediately want to go restyle my hair. Thanks so much!

Ali did a phenomenal job on my pixie cut! Super cute, cozy salon, friendly stylists and she nailed what I wanted perfectly. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend her! It's always hard trying a new salon but I had no reason to be concerned. 10/10.

Maria Verkuilen is awesome! She heard my thoughts on a haircut and was able to bring it to life! Not to mention her coloring abilities. My color looks natural and lasts until I see her again! The Hair Lounge's location was a little hard to find for an out-of-towner, but I was quickly able to figure out where to go. The inside of the salon is so cute and I love the individual stylist rooms. It makes for a quiet and private environment that I really enjoyed.

Sam was my stylist and I had the best time at my appointment (I hope she had fun too). I was so thankful that she accepted my appointment as I was traveling from out of state. I truly appreciate stylists who love and appreciate curls. We were able to nerd-out about products and styling methods and I felt like she listened to me and helped me achieve my hair vision.

Since my appointment on September 16th, I have been blown away by my Devacut. For the first time in my life I LOVE my hair. Always liked it before, but it's a whole new level now. I've had a Devacut before, but at the time I wasn't styling my hair as often because of my job. Now, I am having fun and playing with my hair because it always looks awesome.

Maria has been doing my hair for years and recently moved to The Hair Lounge. She always does an amazing job with my cut and color, and we've played quite a bit with color! She listens to what you want and offers great suggestions. She also does all three of my kids' hair. My 14 year old son doesn't want anyone but her to cut his hair and she does a wonderful job with my 16 year old daughter's massive amount of very long, thick, wavy hair. We all love her! Plus she is just a blast to hang out with while getting your hair done! And the salon is beautiful too!

I got a Deva Cut from Amy and had a great experience. The cut is great, Amy was great to chat with, and they are taking a lot of precautions to keep clients and themselves safe from COVID during their time there. Definitely will be back.

I needed my hair colored and cut. I let Maria work her magic. She did an awesome job and I am able to just blow my hair dry and be on my way. I will definitely return to her for future hair appointments.

I love this place! Excellent location, very clean, trendy and stylish interior. Friendly staff! I can't recommend Maria enough; I've never received more compliments on my hair than I have after I got it cut by her. She makes you feel and look gorgeous every single time.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Heidi for years and wouldn’t trust anyone else! The new salon is beautiful- scheduled to have my wedding party hair/make up done there before my wedding come October! Can’t say enough good things about the stylists and location!
