There was a review posted publicly in regards to preferential treatment of clients who were not of African american decent. I took my son with me per his request, the staff is always friendly, welcoming , and asked how they could help . I had no issue and got some good teas and stone bracelets. I had a good experience and I'm considered minority.

This was my very second, as opposed to my very first time, going to Dreaming Goddess. My first time was in January, 2022, and I went there to treat myself to some Birthday gifts. I would have much preferred to have returned sooner than a year later, but my schedule was such that I could not return until last week. This time, I purchased Birthday gifts for myself, a good friend whose Birthday is also in January, as well as some additional Yule gifts for my life partner. I love how huge the store is, and there is truly something for everyone: Crystals, card decks, jewelry, mugs, soaps, etc. The selection of card decks as well as books are quite large. I especially love the sections on the upper level that focus on a specific theme: Wiccan/Pagan, Goddess, Herbal Magick, the Fae, Angels, etc. It has become one of my favorite places in Poughkeepsie, NY, and I look forward to returning well before January, 2024!!

Dreaming goddess is the only place to go for your crystal needs. They have an extremely wide selection. You won’t have to travel multiple places to find something specific, they have SO many options. They have beautiful jewelry, lots of books and tarot cards, and so much more. Along with their lovely selection is wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help. The environment is welcoming, kind and all around lovely. Always love coming here !

I love this store! Everyone is always friendly and welcoming and the crystals are amazing. There's a great range from affordable tumbles to more expensive elaborate specimens. I always have fun looking around, regardless of what I buy and the inventory is always being updated. There is a great loyalty program as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're into crystals, incense, or other metaphysical supplies!

Dreaming Goddess is by far the best metaphysical shop in the area, by far! Their stunning collection of crystals will make you go crazy (in a very good way). The workers are all very kind, knowledgable and friendly. They also have a great selection of books and a wonderful collection of tarot cards. Whenever I come here, I don't want to leave!

I just love this magical gift shop! I can spend hours looking at the stones/crystals, jewelry, candles, and all the magical gifts in this shop. I love that they have lots of items from local artists! This store just radiates positive energy and the staff have always been amazingly helpful. I highly recommend!

This is my favorite metaphysical shop in Dutchess County. They always have an excellent selection of crystals, jewelry, books, candles.... anything you might need is in this wonderful shop. The staff and owner are the kindest, most helpful people that go out of their way to help you in any way they can. I go here often and I highly recommend it.

Such an amazing store! Great energy! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and so kind and helpful! I drive 2 hours each way to shop here. She has some of the most beautiful specimens I have seen. I recently bought a blue kyanite and it is absolutely the finest I have ever seen. Love love!!

A friend of mine purchased a quartz cluster for me after I loved it on a fb live viewing. It was delivered to me fast and with care. It was packaged in a cute little box and inside smelled amazing which added to the care and excitement. I imagine it smells like the store which I haven’t visited YET! The quartz is beautiful and carries such beautiful energy. It was the perfect addition to my collection that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. I am pleased with the quality, customer service and price. I can’t wait to add more to my collection and visit the shop!

The best place to buy crystals and other spiritual items I've ever been to. Rhianna is incredibly sweet and buys all her crystals with intention - she told my friend Maggie and I (we both go there at least monthly) that she tries to feel the energy of her customers and chooses crystals based on what she feels we need. Other places with similar products just don't have that deep level of caring like Dreaming Goddess. The staff are all so fantastic and are always around to answer questions about crystals and other products.

Wonderful shop! Great selection of beautiful crystals, awesome staff and Rhianna is an amazing human being! I have also taken some the classes Rhianna offers and love her moon gatherings. The Dreaming Goddess is not only a great store but a great part of the hudson valley.

Beautiful, overwhelming, and comforting at the same time. There were so many jewelry items I absolutely fell in love with! There's a few steps up to the next level which holds used books, clothing and many other items! The room off to the side is beautifully set up with many different crystals, stones, geodes, and just everything! Prices are very reasonable and they have a rewards card!!! Do not miss out on this shop!

I’m going to start by saying this shop is fantastic! My mom, my daughter, and I went shopping there on Wednesday 3-31-21. I will definitely be going back for my metaphysical needs.

We had gone to the Awareness Shop in New Paltz right before and didn’t even get in the store as my two year old didn’t have a mask on, which isn’t required by the way. They were extremely rude to me, so I turned around and went to check out Dreaming Goddess for the first time ever and was not disappointed!

Nothing was said about my daughter and she loved the store! She loved the real faced pumpkin character in the back and the turtle on the floor up front. It was a great experience and I’ve found my permanent metaphysical store.

Rianna always has an amazing variety of hand - picked crystals and stones. The shop is warm and welcoming, and one can spend a leisurely hour (or more) looking at clothing, candles, and a wide variety if hand - made jewelry.
Everyone in the shop is knowledgeable and helpful (look for Shay when you're there - she's amazing!)

Very friendly and informed, clean store, hand sanitizer right near the door and the baskets are cleaned after use as well. One of my favorite stores. Jewelry is beautiful, great collection of gemstones, sculptures, tarot and oracle cards, and charms. They have a shamanic section as well, and a wide variety of incence. They also have a good selection of protection charms, premade spell packets, and herbs. If i could give them a higher rating I would. The staff is SO SO friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. This store is perfect for any new age shopper.

Always a wonderful experience when I shop at Dreaming Goddess ! The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help answer any questions you have. I could spend hours browsing through everything Rihanna has in the store from Gems, Essential Oils , Tarot Cards, Books, Clothing the list goes on. Not to mention the vast number of classes she offers. 🦋💕

I love this place! I just discovered it about a week ago after learning about some crystals that I was interested in getting. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and were so happy to help people. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do.

I love this shop!! It’s an inclusive space for all different types of spiritual practices. They have all things magical, including a huge selection of books, crystals and tarot decks! And the staff is always friendly, I would highly recommend it!

Based on my first visit to the establishment, I will begin with 4 stars. With only a very short time (15 min) before the store closed is when I arrived on the Sunday afternoon, so my review will change upon a subsequent visit when I can allow more time to shop. With that being said, I loved the 15 minutes! Excellent, diverse variety of products from all shades and hues of the spectrum of magick, occult, spiritualism, etc. From a great selection of books, new and used, incense, candles and sage, to little trinkets, decorations, and gemstones, this place seemed to have it all- and then some! Finding a shop like this one is a needle in a haystack, and most tend to lack the expansive diversity of occult/religious paraphernalia and tools for it's craft and practices. Here, I found a beautiful selection of Tarot Cards, about three feet away from The Holy Bible, and that's not all. Staff was incredibly helpful, warm and friendly despite the fact that I walked in the door very close to their closing time. I will be back to really explore the different merchandise and array of interesting books for sale. PS*-- from a quick glance of price observation, I have to say that based on what I saw, everything was fair, or generous. If this is your thing, you need to check them out!!!
