It is a very nice trail. I wanted a place to walk and my daughter took me with her to the trail to Island Park .I really enjoyed it.it was a beautiful day so had to Spend it outside.The trees were really pretty that day. We took a lot of Amazing pictures together. If you get a chance, take a walk or bike on this trail.

I haven't been there in 10 years and the work they did to the park is beautiful. Connecting Little Chute to Kaukauna is great. Wish it was done when I lived in Kaukauna. But great park, clean great walking surface

Always enjoy walking along the river. Very relaxing

It's a beautiful trail. Quite crowded on Sunday afternoon. People with dogs need to be smarter than their dogs by keeping them on a shorter leash so bicyclists can safely pass.

Its a beautiful little park. Quiet and serene with amazing views of the river in both directions.

Nice park along the river to walk and ride your bike. Seeing the old locks and dam was very interesting.

We'll maintained walking and biking path a long the river. Great place to get in some exercise and see some wildlife while doing it.

Super nice place to go fishing, on some areas!
In the summer time the damn closes and expoese the rocks. It allows you to walk almost across it! It smells like garbage thow, highly recommended wearing shoes or something yo cover your feet! Try not to touch the water.
I did find a dyeing bird, he was stuck, i tried to save him but he died. Lost of dirty dipers in the water and by the rock area. Not sure whos responsible for the clean up but Appleton needs to pick up there game.
There is a nice walk/bike path, its a beautiful walk. Just dont by the shores.

Awesome bike and walking trails! If you go biking towards dusk watch out for bug swarms!

My favorite walking/running trail from downtown to Heesakker park. Beautiful green space with lots of benches to relax and enjoy the river.
