Westcott Beach State Park

We came here for my husband's birthday and brought our puppy. We had a blast! Our puppy enjoyed the sand and water. It was not very busy, and there was plenty of room to run and play.

Beautiful Saturday afternoon in early September. Very few people here, peaceful and relaxing ..A tad bit chilly, but my dogs loved the weather...

Stayed in one of the new cottages about two weeks after they were finished. It was beautiful and full of all the amenities you could ask for. All you needed was some fire wood and food, and you were good to go. The beach was quiet and well kept. It was a beautiful and picturesque scene to watch the sunset god down over the lake. Though we did not get to spend much time here, we are looking forward to come back.

Only $8 a car load to get in for the day. Campsites were spacious. Had a fire pit and a nice size picnic table. Ample parking at the site. Nice walking path to the sandy beach. Water that day was warm.

Amazing park just outside of Watertown. We drove 5 hours from Westchester to get there, and it was very well worth it. From check in to check out, the staff was helpful and attentive and the process was easy and straight forward. We stayed in the brand new cabins, and it was an experience like no other. If you are looking for the best place on Lake Ontario look no further. We are coming back ASAP.

Fantastic! I recently spent a little less than a week here. The location is stunning for starters, and the folks that work here are amazing. The property is beautiful with mostly level sites, the sites at the lower campground are nice and private. The sites at the Plateau are GIGANTIC. Brand new bathrooms and children's play yard. The only downside is that it is more than a mile to the beach area (Which you still have full access to)

I will go back again. I very much enjoyed the stay and watching the sunset over Lake Ontario

One of my favorite parks. Grew up spending summers here and still am coming back as an adult. The beach is part of Henderson Harbor and you get a great view of Association Island and of boats coming and going. Lovely and relaxing.

Fun beach to just swim. Wouldn't bother bringing many toys, the rules are ridiculous. You can't even have a noodle. Other than that, we had a great time. Went on a weekday morning and almost had the place to ourselves.

Really pretty in the off season. Lovely on a cloudy day.

Beautiful spring day to walk the beach and pick up drift wood. Rode bike around the camp sites. Favorite path is near the beach with the view of Lake Ontario. To end our day enjoyed a tail gate picnic and gorgeous sunset.

Grab lunch and enjoy the north country has to offer. Just don’t for get to go to pennocks after. For the best soft serve ice cream.

My first time here and it was amazing. There was plenty of shade up in the picnic area with more than enough room to gather, the beach was clean and water so clear. We decided to go a little later in the day so the heat and humidity wasn't as bad and the crowd would be thinner. Best decision because we got to be there for a beautiful sunset!

The place looks as though, they space the picnic tables and they also come off some of the parking lot. I was there for a good friend cookout, as you can see,I loved the scenery !!!

Absolutely gorgeous beach. A little flooded right now, but come summer and I'll be there every weekend!

Gorgeous and could not get over how clear this water was especially for a lake! A hidden gem gor sure.

We had a great vacation. Loved our site. The water spickots weren't close by, but other than that we had no complaints. We're already planning next year's stay.

Nice beach and well maintained property with shelters, bathrooms, and lots of parking. Check the state parks website to see if the beach is open.
