First visit to the Cafe after enjoying many wonderful loaves of bread purchased at local markets. Met my brother and his wife, who had suggested the meetup location. We were unaware that the menu was fully Vegan. As soon as we saw the complete menu, we knew our meal would be a good one. Each of us ordered something different from the menu. It was prepared fresh and was delicious. We were never rushed, so we could enjoy each others company while having a great lunch. Nicely done!

Hearty. Deliciously flavorful. Every food item here is filled with love and all kinds of goodness from the food to the people. Everything here from the buttered slices of warm freshly baked bread to the stews and soups, sandwiches and freshly baked breads are above and beyond. Today we scarfed down the chili and country veg as well as the healthy AF sandwich. If you are passing through or living nearby, you must give this place a try. Their desserts are heavenly - last time we got some (pain with chocolate & cookie) our child devoured every bit without leaving us any. Recommend getting any and all of their pastries - but make sure to get enough for everyone! 😂

I recently tried several lunch items at Rockhill bakery and loved everything! They’ve done an amazing job making vegan options flavorful and healthy. The baked goods are absolutely amazing as well as their vegan cookie dough. The staff were very friendly and the cafe is a very relaxed vibe. I can’t wait to go back and will definitely be dining here frequently!

Absolutely spectacular! When you visit Glens Falls, whether you are vegan or not, you will thoroughly enjoy the fresh foods, bursting with flavor, served in generous portions.

I went there Saturday and there was a mishap with my order. It was busy so I understood and would have just been happy just getting my food, but they went above and beyond to fix the issue! My food was delicious and loved my cinnamon roll. The sourdough loaf I bought makes really good sandwiches too.

One of my top 5 vegan places on the east coast for sure. They do everything well: coffee, soup, sandwiches, you name it. We were headed South after a weekend in Lake George and it’s the perfect respite for weary vegan travelers! Great atmosphere inside and they make their own delicious bread in house. Could spend a couple hours here happily munching.

They serve amazing food here. Everything is vegan. They have a great variety. Sandwiches, soups, chili, salads, pizzas, Italian food, Indian food, a great selection of homemade breads. There is also a bakery section with their own cookies and pastries. For lunch, we opted for the delicious chick’n wings served with dipping sauce, the Mimi Reuben on their own toasted bread, the veggie sandwich, both served with pickle or potato salad or chips. We brought home 3 loaves of their bread. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Can’t wait to go back there!

Excellent vegan sticky bun with hot black coffee. Also some peppermint tea and gluten free sweet potato chips for my lovely partner. We’re just popping in after a wonderful visit to the historic Hyde Collection in beautiful Glens Falls New York! Stop and see the fantastic works of Renoir, el Greco, Botticelli, Rubens, Rembrandt , Picasso many and other precious works going back to the 14th century. What a perfect rainy day treat!!!!

Great place to have lunch or grab some bread in Glens Falls. They have a great selection of bread each day ranging from marble rye to cinnamon raisin to whole wheat. The bread is amazing. They also have biscotti. The cafe selection is outstanding. You can't go wrong and the great thing is that you don't miss the meat. This is a good place for people who are vegan or not.

Came here for dinner, got pizza and seitan wings although with two matcha lattes. The food was very good and the matches were huge and beautiful. Atmosphere is really nice, I love all the book and Jack Johnson was playing on the sound system which is great. We got a sticky bun to go which we didn't eat for another 2 days but it was still delicious.

We order Rockhill every week for take out. Favorites are Reuben, pizzas and lasagna. Kids love when we can eat in so they can raid the toy bin and get a gigantic chocolate chip cookie. Can't go wrong with any of the baked goods or bread. You could make an afternoon of it and visit the all the shops next door.

Went in mid-morning on a Friday, and fell in love with this place! I really liked the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the very tasty food. I decided to go with a vegan breakfast (why not) and was pleasantly surprised by how well prepared everything was. I got the vegan breakfast sandwich on sourdough and a turmeric latte. SO GOOD. I thought the combination of flavors and textures in the sandwich were spot on. For the meat and cheese eaters out there, please don't compare this to a regular meat & cheese sandwich otherwise you might be disappointed. However, if you appreciate flavor and trying something different, you may enjoy their vegan fare. I was happy that the turmeric latte was not made out of soymilk though I can't remember if it was almond or coconut milk-- either way, it was very good.

I also picked up a biscotti, scone, and vegan oatmeal raisin cookies to enjoy later with my loved ones. The vegan oatmeal raisin cookies were chewy, moist, and filling! The biscotti and the scone are the best we had ever tasted! The baker (I think his name is Matt?) really knows his craft. The scone broke apart nicely, had a perfect crusty exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth and just-right on the crumbles interior. The biscotti was just the right amount of crunchy and soft all at the same time if that makes any sense. Both the scone and biscotti were very flavorful. There was also a "je ne sais quoi" to the flavor that we really liked-- maybe from them being hearth-baked?

Not only was the food excellent, but the service as well! The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Two women helped me during my visit. It was my first visit, and they were patient with me as I tried to figure out what I wanted and happily explained ingredients in the available offerings. I also people-watched for little bit, and it's really nice to see that the staff here treats all people with respect. They are friendly to all people from all walks of life.

I can't wait to go back! Thank you for making my first impression of Glens Falls a great one!!

I live in Massachusetts Have not visited NY state I can see by the photos and website it's about the quality like rise above bakery in Greenfield ma. NY state is very big with alot of nice places lots to offer. Rents vary with area.

Always excellent food. Newer venue feels spacious and clean. Staff is friendly. I look forward to post-pandemic live music on the cozy stage here.

If you love vegan, then you will love Rock Hill Bakehouse & Cafe. Also, they love their investment in their community, supporting those in need.

Have been making the trek down from Lake George 3-4x a trip while we visit for the past two years, and Rock Hill is worth it! The food is fantastic, wether you are vegan or not. Their bread is incredible, every pastry (I’ve now tried them all) is delicious, but their food is incredible. It’s also so affordable for vegan fair - especially for their portion sizes. My father in law had their pastrami sandwich and said it was “the best he’s ever had” - this from a Long Island guy! - and actually couldn’t tell it was vegan (we left that detail out when we took him her the first time). Already looking forward to our summer trip next year so we can come back here for more tasty goodies.

Rock Hill bakehouse is one of those cafes that gives you a homely and community feeling. I was visiting Saratoga/Lake George and I happen to find this place for lunch. This is 100% vegan restaurant/Cafe. Extremely nice and friendly hosts. Clean and hygienic. Excellent food. I ordered a vegan "chikken" (I love how they distinguished the word chicken with two ks instead lol since they are vegan) burger. The patty was nice and not rubbery. Portion size is pretty good, I couldn't finish it all so I got it to go after.

If I lived around this neighborhood, this would be my hangout spot I kid you not!

What a find for vegans! What a find for omnivores! Bonus points that everything on the menu is vegan. This is a lovely cafe with a spacious seating area, and an enormous viewing window where viewers can watch bread being made. We ordered the black currant scone and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie (massive), and coffees. We were so impressed with the place we returned for dinner that night for salad, sandwiches, brownies and a tasty raspberry tart. We were thrilled to find this place just a short walk from our hotel in Glens Falls, and we will be back!

Stopped there for quick dinner. Ready to find. Had the Ruben. It was great. Pickle that came with it was fantastic. Server lady was very friendly and helpful.
