A nice place to wander around. The beach goes for a while to the right and goes to a rope swing. Also walked a trail, which was nice. Not hard, but a good walk with some big trees.

Very similar to Chimney Bluffs but not as well-known so it’s more secluded…

Nice area. Close to the water. Trail head also starts here. Was able to catch the infamous blue moon on 8/30/23

Quiet area off a dead end road. Trails in the woods for hiking. Remember it’s a carry in/out so bring a trash bag with you.

Took the kayaks over to beaver creek. Easy to get them in the lake, easy port to the creek. Beavers have dammed off the route to port bay, but still a beautiful trip with lots of wildlife around.

I love this location to go to and swim and cook out and nice walks the only thing that I have been mad about at this location is the people that leave there trash all over the place and then my husband and I end up cleaning it up while we are walking down the lake side.

Okay, I *could knock off a star for accessibility, BUT I can't because... it's free. It's completely gorgeous and soooo huge. It reminded us of the rocky Massachusetts coast.
