Ye Old Fort Diner

This diner looks like a good place to avoid. Big mistake! Settle in to the local decor and enjoy the food and service. Not a big menu but almost anyone can find something. Kim is at home cooking or serving. Christine serves like a pro. Good place to eat and relax.

I was looking for a nice, hearty meal. Was skeptical at first. But, I will say the Ol' Fort did not disappoint. It was deliciously homemade. Our family will return!

The food was amazing. Like they have a 5star chef in the kitchen. Portion size was over the top.

If you are looking for welcoming staff, value for your buck, kid friendly and genuinely relaxed and comfortable place to eat then you will be so happy to have found this wonderful diner. It's got 3 old fashioned booths, tables and a counter where you can eat and is decorated with some cool posters and historical things from the Fort Ann area. This is the best diner ! What a breakfast plate , delicious and very reasonable . Staff was very kind and was a very big part of the wonderful atmosphere . I will visit again .

Best chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting you'll ever find. Have enjoyed many meals here with family and friends. You will never leave hungry!

This is the best kept secret of Ft Edward. Not a secret really. It's always packed in there- especially for breakfast on the weekend. I always get the pancakes because they're the bomb!!! Their inlets are to die for. Had the Philly cheese steak inlets this morning and it's the best omlet I've had in a really long time. Service is fast and friendly, too. If you're looking for a Cozy diner give them a try. You will love it,

Wonderful Diner, great staff and amazing food, not to mention you get to see all the arts and maps and chronology of the local area. Me and my wife get breakfast every thursday we can make it, and the prices are great. Not many places you can get a hearty, delicious breakfast for about $7 bucks a person.

Great small town diner feel. The walls and shelves are stuffed with knick knacks obviously collected over years of
personal tastes and joys. This is the type of place that corporate restaurants try to imitate. We tried this out while visiting a friend. Ye Olde Fort Diner was filled with old friends who bantered with each other casually. We were immediately greeted as though we'd been coming for years.
The coffee was good. The service was friendly. When we got our breakfasts, they were exactly the comfort food we'd hoped for. Bacon cooked like you would hope for and fluffy pancakes with just-right scrambled eggs. If you're looking for a homey feel and great comfort food at very reasonable prices, Ye Old Fort Diner is an excellent choice.

If you are looking for a place to go that gives you your money's worth, then this is the place you need to check out. You get more for your money here then you would at McDonald's any day. The food is amazing especially the breakfast and the fry bread dough. This place is cozy and gives you that feeling of and Homestyle cooked meal. Highly recommended.
