Smully's On The Bay at Geano Beach

Nice spot right on the Bay. The Saturday ribeye steak special was unexpectedly amazing! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Would definitely come here again for food! Thanks, Smully and crew, for all you do!

Our group stopped by after the GB Chicago game. Upon walking in they were actually closing after a slow evening. As we were about to leave, the owner asked if we were there to eat or have a drink. Of course we were all starving from the game and thirsty as well which we obliged but we understood and we would just go to our cabin we rented. The owner then asked the cook ( Sara ) if she had closed up yet which she had. Before we knew it the kitchen was open and the fryers were heating up. Needless to say we all had a great time with the staff and the owner. The Broasted Chicken , mashed potatoes and Stuffing was freaking delicious.

We actually were at the Bar the 2 previous days as well and had a great experience each time.

We will definitely be back on game weekends as well as trying out the ice fishing !!!!

Wow! We were amazed by this place! Got the food to go and ordered medium rare with a 10 mile drive and absolutely loved the food when we got home. If we're going to sit in definitely and if you are getting it to go either way a must stop...
12/29/23-Stopped again tonight about 6, fish is so good they were out of everything, np, got a mushroom/Swiss burger and made to perfection...staff is always spot on and don't sleep on this place

Amazing food and staff! We’ve gone to Smullys many times and every time the food and staff have been fantastic! Highly recommend going.Very worth the half hour drive.

Enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon with live music. Delicious broasted chicken. Service prompt and friendly. Great view of the bay.

I had sautéed shrimp and hubby had batter fried shrimp both were excellent and we both love our food hot. I had baby red potatoes which were good but I liked my hubby's French fries better they were Crispy outside and fluffy inside with just the perfect amount of salt.

I grew up in this town and our dining options are limited. But if you have a nice day and some time I could not find a better place to escape to and relax. Smully’s is right on the bay in a beautiful relaxing spot. Excellent food and nice wait staff greets you as soon as you sit down. The attention to detail with the decor and nice clean space leaves you feeling amazing as you drink and dine to your leisure. I really recommend traveling a bit just to come here. I might be biased as it feels like home to me. But I have never left Smully’s not feeling happy.

Went there for a free Sunday band concert. Around 200-250 people there. Had a great time. Drinks were good, reasonable price. Have been there twice for supper. Food was very good, service was good. We’ll be back.

Went about 1130 am for the Friday fish fry. Wife and I both had the fresh Bay Perch with baby reds. Fantastic fresh fish with a light batter . Two slices of rye bread with a big slice of purple onion. Cole slaw was crunchy and pretty good. Overall one of the best perch fry’s I’ve had in a while. Girl bartender was very friendly and made a great old fashioned for the wife. The girl cooking brought out our food and was very nice. Highly recommend and will be back!

Great place for lunch, drinks. Bands outside often. A boat dock. Awesome view too. Cool spot!

Food was great and service was even better. Had the steak sandwich that melted in my mouth. Wish they were closer.

Friday night - Perch was awesome, deep fried haddock was very good, home made potato salad was great as well. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Have been here several times since the new owner and the food and service are excellent. The place is nicely remodeled. Prices are reasonable, and the view is fantastic. Would recommend Smully's for a fun and casual dining experience.
