The original negative review follows but I have had dealings with them since and it has always been positive.

I called in because a neighbor is constantly harassing me. The Sheriff has heard recordings of him threatening me in the past. The last deputy I spoke with said they have constantly having problems with this person for six years now. He is on probation and was arrested a few weeks ago and got back out anyway. The 911 operator told me that they where sending a deputy right out. An hour later their was no Sheriff. I called back in and it took another 20 minutes later for the deputy to call me. The deputy said his lieutenant told him not to bother. Finally almost two hours later a deputy shows up but can not find him. If they would have just came out when I called they could have caught him with three huge fires burning. Now that the officer has left the neighbor is shining lights in my windows and taunting me by making the sound of a police car.

Ineffective. My 94 year-old mother was robbed and her home destroyed in July by renters and I am STILL trying to get them to arrest the suspects!!! The suspect was even allowed to return some of the stolen property!!! Blatant admission of guilt!!! Totally unprofessional when you go to their office. They like to close the window while you are still talking because they know they are in the wrong. Did you know that you have to actually "witness someone stealing the property" before they will investigate? Even if NO ONE besides the perps were ever in the home? Thieves backing up thieves...just because one is a cop and one Is a fireman. Firemen are NOT allowed to rob....except in Deming, NM
