This place was awesome! The food was fantastic, the service was great, the view was amazing. Can’t think of enough good things to say about it, I would recommend it and I would definitely come back. My wife doesn’t eat seafood, she had the burger and fries, she was very happy with it. I had the grilled oysters and the seafood pot pie - one of the best I’ve had. Thanks for an excellent dinner!

It’s walking distance from our house so we go pretty regularly. Definitely try for a spot on the 2nd floor bar area to get the best view of the boats - they also play live music here in the evenings, so it does get a little loud. This restaurant is enormous but it still fills up quick in the summer. Yes the takeout counter outside is identical food to what’s served in the restaurant.

The sushi seems random on a menu of thoroughly American fare, but you are on a fishing pier so it’s very fresh. Obviously seafood, specifically lobster and clams and scallops that are brought in at the pier, are some of the best options. They’ve got great clam cakes. Point Judith calamari is caught right off this coast but 80% of Rhode Island squid is actually shipped to China to be processed - not sure where George’s gets their calamari (and for the record it’s still very good) but it’s likely not as fresh as some of their other items.

The cocktails are also really good. I always get the spicy margarita!

My mom and I always come here once a year on our annual trip to Rhode Island. This is one of her favorite places! I don’t like sea food so I stuck with the fried chicken sandwich and also had the bar make me my drink of choice! Everything was delicious!! Our waiter was extremely nice. He was a man with a gray beard and glasses and a thick New England accent. He was so kind and wonderful

Searched Hi and Low for a traditional RI lobster roll. If your not familiar with the difference, every NE state has their version and they are all quite different.
Rhode Island presents the prized cold water lobster with little fan fare bc it shines all by itself.
3 ingredients: Fresh Lobster meat, soft buttery roll and BUTTER! No mayo. No greens. Just the star of the show. George’s does right by the marine crustaceans.
Served w/ homemade chips, seasoned to perfection.
Libations were on point. Service was exceptional for our group of 6.
The scenery surrounding Narragansett’s Salty brine beach town is breathtaking. Outdoor seating lends a coastal vibe that elevates the already magical atmosphere.

Look no further for your authentic Lobster rolls!

I can not say enough good things about George's. We came here the other night, as I have never been, and my husband was here 30 plus years ago. Outdoor seating was open, and really, that was one of the main reasons for coming here, I want to soak in as much summer as I can possibly get. Upon being seated our server Jack came over to take our drink order. He was friendly, pleasant, and very personable. Brought our drinks out, and we ordered clam cakes, as it's a must for me to try anyone's clam cakes in New England. These arrived quickly, hot and delicious. Extremely light. I would have liked to have had a little more clams in them, but they were still very good.
Jack took our dinner order, which I opted to try something a little different and went with the Roasted Day boat Cod with Pistachio and Parmasean crust. My husband opted for his favorite, which was baked stuffed shrimp. The time in between our appetizer and the arrival of our dinners was perfect! We got to enjoy hot appetizers while taking in the sceneries before our dinners came out. Literally, I could not have asked for a better experience for a night out. Our meal without tip was 100.00, but this included 2 drinks each, an appetizer, and 2 dinners. While it may be a bit on the high side for some, the service, the atmosphere, and the food were absolutely well worth it. We will definitely be back.

Co-hosted my daughter’s bridal shower here in April and I cannot say enough about the service we received from Claire and her staff! From start to finish the day was spectacular~ the food was delicious and the event room upstairs is awesome. We have heard from many who were in attendance how wonderful everything was. I highly recommend hosting a special event here~Claire will take great care of you!

Incredible food, service, drinks, and right on the sandy beach. Couldn't ask for more. The calamari is exceptional: 2 types both with rings and baby squid. The ingredients are remarkable. Best scallops and lobster I've ever had in my life. The place is 10 seconds walk from the beach and a ton of other fun places.

Whether your lounged at the Salty Brine beach , coming off the Block Island Ferry, or just in the area , you should make your way here for a great experience. Come as you are , and enjoy live music , outside seating on both floors , and beautiful views from every angle of the restaurant. You will get a great sunset view from the open windows , on the 2nd floor bar. You almost feel like your on the ferry when it goes by, because it’s that close. It’s pretty busy , so be prepared to wait a little while , but the food is worth it . The staff and bar tenders are great , drinks are strong , and the atmosphere on a summer night , is unmatched. The Food was great, and always is when we make the trip, and It never disappoints . So slap on your sandals , dry off and get your sandy bottoms to George’s .

Very good food and drinks. I went out on a limb and ordered the seafood potpie and it was amazing.(pictured below) My wife did not care for the pistachio crusted haddock she wished she just ordered it baked because the fish was very good. We walked out to the beach after dinner and viewed the Tiki bar sand castle. It was very breezy and chilly on the beach so did not spend much time out there. Great place to eat!

This is Salty Brine Beach next to Georges Fantastic restaurant with a huge variety of food options inc fish of course. The atmosphere is beautiful being pretty much very close to the beach. You can eat in the restaurant upstairs which is outside or in. At night music plays and you can see the ocean

Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. I snagged a lobster Roll and clam Chowder. Both were great! Staff was friendly and helpful and place and location was really good. Look forward to a return visit next time I'm in area.

This place was recommended to me while visiting from Texas for work in Providence. I'm so glad it was recommended. The food was absolutely amazing. The lobster bisque might be the best I've ever had. It certainly had the best nose, like butter heaven, of any I've had before. The lobster roll (cold) was great. Though I think I prefer hot with butter. I seriously can't wait to go back for work mainly so I can go back and eat here! The draft menu was pretty good too with a few local options. The cocktail was menu also pretty good. The views on the beach were spectacular. Sunset was amazing. Don't miss out on going here!

We have been going to George's for many years. As always, the food and views are wonderful. What set our last visit apart from the rest was our lovely server Alexia. She was funny and attentive to all of our requests. It is so nice to see someone enjoying their job.

Excellent ribeye and my bf had the scallops and he said it was awesome. They also are dog friendly as long as you sit on the outside patio area. We brought our dog and had a great meal by the water at sunset!

Delicious food!! The atmosphere around Christmas was amazing, and the service was pretty solid. My complaint is some of the staff seemed confused and annoyed when I let them know that someone had made a mess of their bathroom. They did go clean it quickly though, but I think they assumed it was me. TRY THE CALAMRI PLATTERS!! We tried both and they were amazing! I got the lobster Mac and cheese and it was a great dish. This place is on the more expensive side but it was amazing.

Great Food, Staff and Atmosphere !! My husband and I went there with some friends on a Saturday during August. We asked for a window seat because the views are absolutely amazing. And they said "no problem" even though they were clearly busy We surprisingly only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. You can also sit on the front or back decks. While we waited we walked the beach which is only 2ft away. The staff was nice, quick and very helpful. The food was absolutely amazing !!! Fresh Fresh Seafood !! After we ate our delicious meal we had some drinks around the fire pit on one of their decks. Atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Would def recommend and will def be going back.
