The Salt Marsh Pub & Raw Bar

Love this place! Great service, amazing cocktails, scenic views, delicious food. Leslie was our server this past visit. She’s friendly, personable and attentive. The tall drinks are the best, the freshest seafood and generous portions. Absolutely can’t wait to return for drinks and lunch or dinner.

Stopped by for stuffies and drinks. The building is older and feels worn, but good food and friendly staff. While not planned, we were tempted into trying a dessert item. Likely the best cheesecake that I have ever had. Desserts all looked good, but glad we got the cheesecake! I would recommend this as a dessert destination.

Loved being here at sunset after a day frolick8ng at East Matunuk Beach.
Loved the shrimp cocktail and had the clear chowder which was DELICIOUS!
Had my granddaughter and she ate EVERY BITE of her kids dog AND chicken tenders!

The food was slammin'. Had a small issue but our server totally handled it with grace and efficiency. Cant wait to go back. The clam cakes were amazing. Beautiful view, great location, great service. The patio is the place to be.

Great spot, cool outdoor patio, good local business with local artwork and local seafood, plus all the classics and a few creative sandwiches. Great spot to grab a drink and catch up with an old friend.

Captain Jack's is a favorite spot to relax and unwind any day of the week..Scenery is great and staff is always friendly and attentive. Enjoy the RI style chowder & clam cakes and fish was delicious. Heading back soon!

Salt Marsh was clean and the food was good and plentiful. And....our waitress was very pleasant, helpful and brought the food out hot! We sat inside by the window looking out at the outside tables with umbrellas. Thanks for a pleasant eating experience.

Went on a Saturday night...no wait at bar while another place very close had a wait just to pull car in lot lol great beers selection and food was excellent! Had the calamari & oysters for app both awesome! then the steamers for dinner! also our bartender was great to boot!

They have the best Fish and Chips anywhere in the State! And there white cream chowder can't be best! Award winning clam cakes that are light and crispy with real clams actually inside! We have been going there for over 40 years! All the desserts are to die for and made by the owner, if you like Grapenut pudding after having there's you will never go anywhere else! Thank me later!

Great place for seafood!! Food was amazing. Very light and tasty clam cakes with lots of clams in them. Seafood was super fresh. Fish to die for. Service was great. Love the bar and patio vibe. Must stop and try!!

Great new bar attached to cap'n Jack's. New head chef and new menu. Amazing top to bottom. The bartenders are hilarious and friendly. The owner is always right there and available to chat. If I may make a food suggestion? Bacon cheeseburger on sourdough with a fried egg. Knock your socks off.

One of my favorite places to visit in Rhode Island staff are amazing friendly sweet kind foods great the owners are amazing always feels like I’m at home when I’m there and when I’m not in Rhode Island I totally miss it Steve is one of the best bartenders there and Leslie is amazing unique and quirky in always a pleasure and the newest addition Jessica she’s sweet and kind and she’s got a lot of spice spice

Great lunch - chowder and clam cakes, fish & chips - Classic!!!! Have been going to Cap'n Jack's for 40 years....Salt Marsh Pub has taken over the old "Crew's Galley" part of Cap'n Jack's.

A great place for Seafood ( actually all food) and friendly service. This is a real "hometown" pub popular with locals and visitors. Have been going to Capt. Jack's for years, have been to the pub side twice and was NOT disappointed!😋

Second time visitor. Same experience as the first time excellent service, great food and reasonable prices. Nice view of the salt Marsh.
