Our first time here and we are so glad we stopped. We love a place that knows what they are good at and sticks to it! My family of 4 all had different items and each one was enjoyed thoroughly! Will definitely return!
The only reason for a 4 not 5 star on atmosphere was the noise level but it was a Friday evening so not really unexpected.

Wonderful little restaurant with great food and ambiance. Started up during Covid and supports local cheesemaking factories.

Sandwich was delicious and service was great. They were beyond friendly for our work group touring Wisconsin cheeseland!

This place is a little gem to me in the middle of nowhere, but they really do pack a punch. Just the smell when you come through the door it’s so heavenly. I only had the cherry cheesecake and drinks however I will come back and have the full meal and experience. I everything that the waitresses delivered to the tables smelled delicious and looked just as good:)

So cute! The menu is simple and the food is cheap. They’re only open a few times a week, but we got here just in time. We ordered cheese curds to share, I had the chicken delight sandwich with a side of fries, and my husband ordered a cheeseburger with fries.

Arrived hungry on a busy Friday night. Enjoyed a beer at the bar, waited a few minutes for our table. Bar staff fast and friendly. We both had the Friday Walleye plate. Everything was perfect. Portions big, great baby reds. The tartar sauce is best I've ever had. Left satisfied and happy.

We Had a wonderful Mothers Day Buffet on Saturday with my Daughter and family! The food was so good, Prime Rib, potatoes, salads, veggies, and delicious desserts!

AWESOME little restaurant! I stumbled upon this little gem while I was passing through the area for the weekend. I was trying to find a decent place for lunch and their menu online looked right up my alley, so I swung through. Upon entering I noticed the were plenty of cars in tne parking lot... always a good sign. As soon as I got inside I was greeted by a very nice pleasant lady. I sat at the bar ordered a root beer and found they carried a local one on tap! (I LOVE ROOT BEER!!!) When I wanted to look at the menu I was surprised to hear that they were offering a Sunday brunch. "YES PLEASE!" Great spread and you could tell that they cared and put love into there homey country food. Everything was delicious. Plus the food runner was was working hard and smiling the whole time to keep the buffet full, fresh and clean while helping guest with special request. All the servers were nice and friendly not only with customers but with each other as well. As I say quietly and enjoyed my brunch I observed and liked this place more and more. You couldn't help but just fall into the good vibes that were emitting from this place. The customers, servers and cooks as well as the manager (or owner) were all happy. And yes of course i got a warm farewell and thank you on my way out the door. My favorite restaurant yet in my travels across the country. Thank you "Homestead "

Service spot on even though its busy. Breaded ravioli absolutely perfect and the BEST in the area.

Juicy burger even though it was ordered well done. Perfect bacon with all the fresh toppings. Fries cooked in fresh oil.

Thick crust pepperoni pizza delicious (two choices thin or thick) Sauce could use a little more magic. No star deduction, but this is Wisconsin and pizza competition is the toughest of all 50 states.

I LOVE the decor and feel of this of this restaurant. A little loud, but it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Do I have to leave?

What a great family place! The brunch buffet was great, completely home made, stick to your ribs food. Really affordable as well! Eggs, bacon, sausage, fish, cheese spread, soup, French toast and amazing desserts

My family found this gem of a restaurant in the beautiful Wisconsin farm country. The restaurant is well ran, very clean, with real food, served by down to earth folks. This family is the real deal in regards of Farm to Table. If you are around and don’t eat there, you are doing yourself a disservice.

We went last Friday for their fish fry. It was so good! The service was fast and friendly. We also had fried cheese curds, spicy fried pickles, and onion rings.

Our family has been trying just about everything on the menu since it opened last year. It's all good. The milkshakes are a meal in themselves, and the pizza (always buy the biggest so you can take some home!) is just as tasty the next day. Love the building and outside gathering/recreation spaces (especially the clever basketball and bean bag toss games).

Delicious! Come here almost weekly! Their old fashions, pizza, ruebens, and ribeye sandwiches are SO GOOD!!! New favorite local restaurant. Highly recommend

The hostess walked up to us and welcomed us at the door. She was helpful and down to earth. Our waitress, Becca, was PHENOMENAL!! Really made us feel like part of the family. The food was delicious and very fairly priced. We loved that the food was locally grown. Definitely will be repeat customers.

Stopped in on a late Sunday afternoon. The food and beverage service at our table was fast and excellent. When we received our check we realized how affordable this place was; hence we noticed all of the families that were eating. Very affordable and the food was plentiful! Highly recommend!

UPDATE: 7.24.2022: These folks have really upped their game. Bar help: OUT OF THIS WORLD! They are such great ambassadors to Algoma!

Our Women's Group made reservations for 13. Our waitress, Erin, was so organized taking individual checks by name. Food arrived and all were pleased save my dining partner who ordered the special, Beef Tips. Very few pieces of beef, unfortunately. When widow ladies don't ask for a to-go container for a leftover meal, then the meal wasn't that great.
I had a chefs salad and ordered the ALL Meat pizza to take home to spouse. Spouse was delighted and the smaller pizza fed us for 4 meals!

This place is absolutely incredible, and a true gem to the NE Wisconsin area. If you are looking for some great food, great atmosphere, and a fun atmosphere you will definitely want to make a stop! They also have some fun games outside to play while you wait for your food, making it a family-friendly place as well. You will not be disappointed!!
