Eggs over easy, steak, white gravy, wheat bread...good old-fashioned and appreciated comfort food in Algoma, WI. Easy walking distance of just about anywhere...beach, fishing piers, etc. Recommended!

Exactly what you would expect for a small town breakfast joint. Quick, kind service. No frills. Yummy food. We ate breakfast here twice while visiting Algoma and were super satisfied both times.

Stopped in for lunch, I was going to chill on the beach they were doing raking. I ordered a double deans with bacon and added country gravy. That country gravy was pretty legit, needs pepper for my taste. You can taste the sausage as it permeates it. Had cheese curds added the rest of the country gravy on top. This place was a great call. All right across the beach. I'm thinking the butterscotch malt won't disappoint.

Quaint little diner with an extraordinary view. Without realizing it, we were seated 30 minutes before close. It was very busy but we were seated promptly. The lady serving us asked for patience because she typically works back of house but they were short staffed. She was very friendly. The food was piping hot and delicious. We will definitely eat there again. Kudos to that employee for going the extra mile!

Nice place to stop and eat on our way through. Loved the beach and hope to spend time there in the future. The food was good and nice friendly employees. Ice cream cones after eating was nice too. Breakfast lunch and dinner foods. Relaxed attitudes of other customers walking in. Our family of 3 had some of each. Best looking waffle with fruit and ice cream, lunch sandwich and dinner meal.

Food is fantastic! It's not fast service, but it's definitely worth the wait!!!

The 5 ⭐ is for the server. Our waitress was an older woman who was excellent. (July 18th, 11:00AM) She was working completely alone while the restaurant was full and even had a line to get in. She gave us excellent service, checked in on us, and served everyone else there! I never seen her sit down or take a break once. I hope that lady sees this and knows she’s doing an excellent job❤ The food was good too!

Wife and I have been here many times since moving to Algoma. There's really nothing to complain about. Gorgeous location with a view of the lake, outdoor seating in the warmer months, cheap prices, great food for the price. You can get a solid breakfast here if you can find an open table. They also make a great burger. And of course, ice cream. All while maintaining that quaint, authentic hometown vibe. What more could you want?

Cute lil place. We grabbed some ice cream, which was ridiculously fantastic on a warm day while enjoyn the lake Michigan boardwalk. A must stop for food or a family sweet treat!

To be frank, there's several bars in town that serve food. I've visited all of said bars and hands down Dairy Dean's has the best food. The staff also were personable and knew what they were doing, unlike a few other establishments in town. Definitely kid friendly If that's something important to you. Reminds me of a few home town restaurants in my home system. Meant to say state but I'll roll with it. I'm an alien. Anyways I'd recommend trying it out wether as a local or just a person passing through.

Food is really really good! Fresh, tasty and not greasy. The grilled chicken that I had maybe it wasn't the biggest sandwich in size but it was very flavorful and I enjoyed it. Even the French fries were yummy. I highly recommend this dinner.

Stopped in for a quick bite after a long day. Burgers were freshly made ( I.e. not a frozen disk). Really one of the best burgers both of us has had in a long time. Two Thumbs Up !

The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean. Our waitress, Dixie, gave us an EXCELLENT first experience! She helped by giving us recommendations, and was even patient with the children. We had burgers and chicken tenders and it was ALL delicious! And for dessert...ICE CREAM!!❤❤❤ I will definitely be going back whenever I'm in town!

Stopped in on 7/11/2021 around 630p. There was only one waitress and she did an amazing job. She had one rude customer while we were there, but I hope the rest of us made her night. Plus the food is amazing and good portions.

Perfect family restaurant right across the street from lake Michigan. Beautiful views while eating.

Stopped here a little nervous after reading a review saying waitress with no mask coughing on food. Well, we were pleasantly surprised that the very friendly waitress was wearing a mask 😷 and the eggs were cooked perfectly, service was great, my coffee cup was always full! It is a small old school diner we loved it.

Wonderful service our waitress was fun and had a smile on the whole time we were visiting. We had the ice cream boat and omg its SO GOOD.. Reminded me of a time when I was a kid when I could look at my ice cream and be caught in the moment like how am I gonna finish this and boy am I going to devower this cold goodness. All flavors and offered different variety of how it would be served. Also burgers are bomb.
