Hazard Rock

Beautiful nature spot on the ocean, rocks you can walk across, waves crash right on to it so be careful don’t get too close. Beautiful view. There are steps to walk down, high and far apart. Wear good shoes, can get windy.

Cool spot you can lay down on the rocks and get a nice tan, few parking spots maybe 5. Very peaceful not many people around.

Visited regularly throughout my life and shared with my kids, this place is fantastic. On this particular day, the seas were rough! It was incredible.

Love coming here. It truly fits the term "hidden gem", it's an extremely underrated spot to go to (though that's what's nice about it). Walking around it at golden hour is just breathtaking and one of the best opportunities for beautiful photos anywhere. Bring good shoes like you were hiking up a mountain or something, because though you can't go far the rocks are fairly treacherous. On that note, DO NOT step on the dark parts of the rocks. That's a surefire way to end up hurt or worse, and that wouldn't be good. Parking is at the end of Hazard Ave, though not much of it (maybe 5 spots). Though it's wonderful for people to experience, it'd be nice if this plays stays "undiscovered" just due to the pure serenity of it.

Absolutely magnificent view of the ocean. The lack of 360° photos made it hard to gauge how big the rocks were (So I made some), but they are extremely big. It's a fair little bit harder to navigate than one of those stone water barriers commonly found at parks, so don't wear anything that could allow you to trip. There was very little litter, parking was a little restrictive, but it was all worth it for how beautiful the sights were. I even I saw a family walking their kid around, and I can imagine that this would have been mind-blowing for me to see as a child. Absolutely, you must visit this place.

Hazard Ave, Narragansett Rhode Island. Great spot for fishing, photography, and many a wedding. One of the best places to catch a 'nor easter storm if angry waves crashing on amazing cliff faces excites you. Just one of the many spots along Ocean Rd.

Found by chance - such a beautiful place! I didn't go down to the rocks but my husband and friends did.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, I am new to Rhode Island and I've never been to such a beautiful spot on the coast. I went there after stopping at the Coast Guard House for drinks and dinner. And then my date took me to Hazard Rock cause they used to go there with friends. And oh my goodness was it beautiful. The waves swelling and crashing into the rocks as we watched yachts coming into the bay. It was really beautiful and really romantic. Just be careful cause, well.... It's in the name HAZARD ROCK, but don't let the name fool you, there is more than one hazard rock in Hazard Rock.

Beautiful spot, limited parking if you go in the summer!

Awesome place to hang out, with few people around and limited parking. We actually weren't on Hazard Rock proper, but were down 1 avenue on Ocean Rd. Not sure if it's legal but there were some remains of campfires across the rocks. The views and the rocks are beautiful, and there are hardly any seagulls which is nice. Great (free!) place to hang out and dip your feet in the water.

This is a beautiful but deadly piece of Rhode Island coast line located in Narragansett off Ocean Ave on Hazard Ave it’s a great area to go fishing but becarefull especially if you bring your children on the rocks. If you step on the black slim near the edge it is very slippery and if you fall in try not to fight it best thing is to swim out and and yell for help and swim across the waves. Over 20 people have died here even a lifeguard! Enjoy and be safe
