South Kingstown Town Beach

Love my town beach. It's great. Sun shelters available, but best to bring your own tent or chair with umbrella attachment. Bathrooms, changing, and showers available.

Loved this beach! We went on memorial day, there was no crowd, and it's clean! Absolutely gorgeous, with a little playground and bathrooms. Went with my fiancé, but we're bringing the kids back with us asap

Neatly kept, life guards posted a good distance from eachother. The sand is a bit coarse and there's a steep dropoff maybe 20ft out in the water so be cautious swimming.

Beautiful family friendly beach. Arriving by car expect to pay a parking fee. The beach is clean, lifeguards are present. Food trucks sometimes present providing slushes and other summer time treats. Will come here again.

Love it well taken care of beautiful view free to visit if you aren't parking on property plenty of lifeguards not recommended after Beach closes if you're not somewhat of a good swimmer little rough very strong undertow so small children adult should stay in the water with them especially when there no lifeguards on duty but beauty second to none even got married there 12 years ago and moved across the street but just like everything else down here it can get pretty busy in the summer months lot of vacationers for three months out of the year there's a mini grocery store in Delhi with a big selection Chance's are if u forgot something they will have it across the street 2 bars and restaurants right up the road a surf shop plenty of street parking 2 ice cream shops with in walking distance one of them attached to the beach also with in walking distance theater by the sea with some kind of play going on most nights makes for a good night out with the wife 😊

My family enjoyed spending lots of time here during a weeklong vacation in South Kingstown. The playground and canopies were a nice bonus!

Enjoying a wonderful vacation along the shore. Walked along the beach early in the morning, and only a handful of people on the beach. Quiet and serene.

I wish south Kingston would restore this beach. It was triple the size until Hurricane Bob washed it out in 1992. It's still lovely, but a shadow of what it was. This happens a lot to beaches on the Gulf, and Florida just hauls the sand back in and restores the beach. We're long overdue to bring this gem back.

Unusually well kept Town Beach and features a boardwalk, 1,300 linear feet of sand, a playground, two picnic areas, a parking area, and has a seasonally available pavilion with showers, restrooms, and a vending area during the summer months.

Great beach! Small and not crowded! I will be returning. There isn’t a snack stand but that’s not a problem if you own a cooler and ice packs!!

Quiet, clean, beautiful! Parking is extremely convenient and there are restaurants and a little ice cream place right on the shore line. 2 parks and out door showers, amazing find for sure.

Great place. Beautiful. Long. Tons of beach space. Nice grassy area above the beach and great pavilion area. I love the seashells and all the fun stuff that washes ashore. This is a place we frequent. Thanks South Kingston Town Beach. Your doing a great job and during pandemic season, it's safe too.

Love my home town beach. Can be rocky so bring water shoes if you like them. Not the best walking beach but if you hit the tides right.... It's great. Bathrooms. Outdoor shower.

Wow a nice clean beach.Has a picnic area, playground for the kids. Even have a couple of canopy areas on the beach for those like me, who can't sit in the sun. I love it.

Been going to this beach for years in the evening after getting ice cream and this year was the first time we came for the day. It was great! Not too crowded and fun waves!

Epic slice of paradise. Pros: Looks like Caribbean. Green rolling hills of grass, bunnies, high vibing humans, classic grassy sand dunes. Con: your toesies will get cut up by the waves of small rocks that I can't figure out how to bypass yet. Need water shoes for sho
