Minersville Campground

Scenic lakeside campground, sites not packed on top of each other. Boat launch is always accessible even when lake is low. Great 4 mile trail (8 total) runs east/west along the lake shore in the treeline - good run shady even in summer.

Beautiful campground right off Trinity Lake. About $13 a night. Only a couple sites available but there was plenty unused in early May

This campsite is in a great location. Lots of hikes around the area and the lake shore is only a 100 yards or so away at the lakes current level. There's also plenty of shade. When we went, it was set to be in the high 80s to triple digits. The campsite never got higher than high 70s. It's still within a 30 minute drive or so of Trinity Center and Weaverville. And just a heads up, the sound system in the Weaverville theater is really good.

Very nice clean campground. Large campsites and some double occupancy. Wheel chair accessible bathrooms and camp host Tom is very nice.

Great place to camp. Nice spots for tent camping or trailers/motorhomes. I think one of the spots has water and power hook ups.

USFS site has incorrect pricing for extra vehicles. It is now $7.

Some of the walk in sites have multiple tables and both grills and firepits. If extra table space or a charcoal grill is important look at a few sites before you commit.

Water was not working at the walk in sites, bring a water jug and fill up at the spigot by the upper bathrooms.

Really nice lake access from the walk in sites.

Good trailer parking near the lower camp ground as well.

Plenty of sites mid week in mid/late August. Sites available weekends, but a bit less choice.

Really nice campground on Trinity Lake. You can get a spot close to the water or farther away. The mosquitos were pretty active when we were there so be sure to have bug spray and citronella on hand.

There is a central bathroom with running water and flush toilets, the women's room was well maintained but the men's room toilet was clogged the entire time we were there. There's also a pit toilet close by the others.

The lake is a short walk away and there's a trail that you can follow for a nice walk nearby.

This campground is right on Trinity Lake. The campsites are walking distance to the parking lot. You can't park directly next to your tent, or pull a motorhome down into the sites. However being right on the lake , literally 50 feet makes up for it. There's bathrooms and picnic tables. Right around the corner is a boat launch ramp as well. Quiet and serene.
