Scarborough Beach Motel

My husband and I were very happy with our stay. The room and property were well kept and very clean with everything we needed. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The location and view and proximity to the beach was perfect!!!

Perfect little motel with a great view and great hospitality.
Walls are a little thin, sorry to our neighbors... Our toddler is finding her voice and it happened to be 11pm at night.
We will definitely be back

The customer service from the check in employee was phenomenal she was friendly and helpful. I'll stay here again for sure the next time I'm in scarborough. The beach is very close to the parking lot. I found the room to be large and the efficiency was well stocked.

Since we go to Narragansett every year atleast 3 to 4 times in summer.
one of the best place we ever stayed close to beach, you can walk just 5 minutes and you at beach.
our room was pefectly fine with ocean view.
Owner and his wife are really helpfull on every way just need to ask..

I stayed in a queen partial ocean view room. The room was small but clean and well appointed with bathroom toiletries, TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. My room had a shower but no tub, something to be aware of. The bed was comfortable and the motel is right across the street from Scarborough beach. I stayed in early May and the street you need to cross for access to the beach wasn't busy at all. The beach is clean and long. Great waves for boogie boarding. There is a deli next door and they served a grab and go breakfast with orange juice, milk, coffee and bagels with b
cream cheese or various jellies. The owners were very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night on a work trip. Room was nice, well furnished and clean. conveniently across the street from a beautiful beach. Front desk clerk was beyond kind and courteous, even handing out flyers and lists of local businesses/restaurants. as he called it, "the cheat sheet"
Very well priced rooms when comparing to other local places to stay.

We stayed in a room with 3 double beds which was a great set up and hard to find. There’s a nice fridge/freezer in the room and a small dining room type table. Lots of dresser space and a rod with hangers. The sheets smelled fresh and clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable. There’s a grab & go breakfast which was a nice touch. We had bagels with cream cheese. There was also coffee and oj. The location is perfect. Just walk across the street to the beach. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Always a decent hotel they just remodeled it. Amazing and you can walk across the road to the beach..

I just stayed for 2 nights and thought the room was terrific. You could literally hear the ocean waves break from the room! The room was sanitized and very clean and up to date. Plenty of great restaurants near by as well. The owner was very pleasant to talk to as well.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! The staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating (I unfortunately had a last-minute request regarding my stay and they were very kind about it). The room was adorable, very clean, and comfortable. A/C, fridge, TV, and microwave. The bathroom was spotless, fresh towels and toiletry supplies, and the shower---while just a stand-up shower, no bathtub---didn't feel cramped in any way. We were on the ground floor, so parking was a breeze (we do own a smaller car however), and it was fantastic being able to walk out our door and see the beach across the street, as well as knowing we could leave for a walk whenever we wanted (whereas a lot of bigger hotels with one main entrance will lock their doors after a certain time).
They cleaned our room while we were out at the beach, so we came back to fresh sheets, clean floors, a large new batch of towels, and more toiletries. We tried very hard not to track sand in, but it happened regardless, so it was much appreciated to come back to a sand-free room!
Even the outside looked lovely, with the bright blue accents and beautiful landscaping. The price was extremely reasonable, especially given all the amenities in the room (I paid double once for a hotel that didn't have any appliances), the proximity to the beach, and the fact that it's the middle of the summer. This trip was just a short one, but I cannot wait to save up and come back next year to book an extended trip. In my mind, there's no better motel than this one if you want to visit Scarborough Beach!

If I could give more stars I would. The ocean is literally right there. I am looking at it as I post this review.

Ownership is outstanding, the renovations they just finished with are great, and the atmosphere is amazing. Just make sure you book ahead of time during busy periods to make sure you get a room. Its just a great spot whether you intend on staying in Rhode Island, or you intend on visiting all of the New England.

Just please check this place out if you are considering a trip out this way. It's one of those gem places that you will be glad you found 💎

Lovely staff, fantastic location, cute clean rooms.

So happy to have found this lil gem. Property and room was clean. Office staff was an absolute pleasure to talk to. He was so informative and accommodating. Our room was small but perfect. Love how close to the ocean it is. Would definitely stay here again.

Great owners very friendly nice rooms

Newly renovated clean and comfortable with a wonderful staff and owners. The price was right for across the street from the beach which is what I wanted. Peace and quiet and that’s what I got. Close enough to Newport RI which is where I wanted to visit. Perfect getaway. I would stay there again.
