The Anchor Motel

We loved staying at this charming motel. Our room had a perfect view of the ocean, what a perfect way to wake up! The room was clean and welcoming.

We have been coming to the Anchor Motel as a family for years. Perfect location, just across from beautiful and peaceful Scarborough Beach. Nicely appointed rooms and public spaces. Always clean facilities and outstanding staff. We just wish we had more time to spend here. Whenever we visit our family in Providence we stay here! Only 30 minutes or so away. They love to come down and visit us when we come to the Anchor Motel!!

This was our 1st visit to Scarborough Beach. I looked at Anchor Motel online, because of the great rates. Then I booked after seeing room photos, location, and reviews. So glad we did! Everything was perfect, staff was wonderful, rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Having coffee available in the morning was a great addition. Thank you, we will be back!

Had a wonderful weekend in Narragansett and owe quite a bit of the enjoyment to the Anchor Motel. The rooms were clean, as were the bathroom. Christine made a beautiful bouquet for my girlfriend. The location can’t be beat - across the street from the water and just a mile from some gorgeous scenery (Black Point). I will be back.

I can not say enough about this New England hidden gem! My wife and I have stayed at The Anchor numerous times over the past 15 plus years. The rooms are clean and welcoming ! The location is amazing with the beach right across the street! The staff are helpful and quick to respond with answers to any questions. Definitely provides you with coastal Rhode Island 's charm. The Anchor is our RI ocean paradise!!!!!!!

I have stayed at The Anchor several times and have never been disappointed. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and have everything you need including the ocean across the street! Making a reservation is easy and checking in and out is seamless. A great family run motel!

We usually come to this motel every year in August but decided to do a second trip last weekend. As usual Christine and staff were exceptional in taking care of our needs. The room was spotless, the beach right across the street and the service beyond expectation. Looking forward to coming again in the summer. Thanks for the great experience.....again

Small slice of heaven here, quiet, cozy, impeccably clean. Off season rates are very good. Brilliant location, across the street from the beach. Magic at night when the wind comes thru. Owners are very friendly (loved the office notes, "just hit brew" on the coffee pot). Can't go wrong.

We just can't say enough about this little and gem of a motel. It's location is sublime, being just across the street from one of the most beautiful stretches of Beach that we have ever seen. The room was clean and cute and had all of the basics. The staff were accommodating and lovely to deal with. I would recommend that anybody who makes it to Rhode Island take the time to come to this beach, and if you do, stay at this motel.

First visit to Narragansett. This motel was perfect. Clean, nicely decorated, great communication with the staff, easy check in and check out and the location is picture perfect. Right across the street is the beautiful beach allowing breathtaking views from the rooms. At night we could hear the waves. Sadly our stay was short but we hope to visit again soon to do some more exploring in the area and enjoy this great motel.

Amazing motel! Very clean, conveniently close to the beach, family friendly, friendly staff, friendly guests. We stayed for 3 nights and upon checking out we were talking about booking for next year already. Our children loved it, 3 kids under 4. Fresh brewed coffee in the morning was a plus. I definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The rooms are so fresh and beautifully decorated for the beach vibe. You truly can't beat the location as the ocean is directly across from the motel. The staff is very easy to contact via email with any questions and responds quickly. I loved it so much that I extended my stay by a night. I can't wait to come back and stay even longer next time!

This is not our first time here and will not be our last. The rooms are clean, the service is spot on. We needed to make a last minute change to our reservation and the staff was very accommodating. Do yourself a favor and book a room, just not my week.

What a GEM!!! We were in the area for a funeral and needed a place to stay for a night. After reading reviews online, I chose this motel. We wish we could extend our stay here because we like it so much..but because it's so great, they are booked all weekend.
Very clean, comfortable, quiet and close to several restaurants. The beach is directly across the street. Check-in couldn't be easier. We definitely want to come back!

I had been hesitant about reserving a room in a motel as in my mind it's not like a Hilton per se...The Anchor Motel blew this thought right out of my mind! The place is super clean (inside and out) the room was SO nice and just felt like home - the hotel manager was so very accommodating and understanding as we had a last minute hiccup but she went above and beyond to be sure our reservation was set and our trip wasn't a wash. HUGE KUDOS to Christine and her team at The Anchor Motel - we LOVED being there and will most definitely be back again real soon. Great view of the ocean from our room and the porch and chairs added such a nice touch for a relaxing and memorable stay! THANK YOU!!!!!

This place is perfect. You can see the beach from the motel, its directly across the street. The rooms are very clean, have everything you need, and beautiful beachy fun decor. The staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful. The prices are good. You have a nice little oceanfront porch, wifi, AC, they even make coffee in the mornings. You literally can't ask for better! We go every year 😊

Great location! Porch w/2 chairs to watch the ocean. Cross low traffic 2 lane road to access beach. Charming rooms with 2 double beds, bathroom with tub/shower. Small fridge. Very clean, new windows, heat/air conditioning. Free parking and WiFi. Hot coffee and ice available in the office. Great e-mail communications from the time you check in!

I’m a huge trip advisor follower, I read reviews and go with my gut. To read about this family run location, which meant so much to me, and all the great reviews I gave it a try. I’m so glad I did! Clean, bright, adorable, safe, almost on the beach, sunrise beauty, attentive staff via email & phone. My daughter & I truly enjoyed our time! We stayed in #14, what a gem!!! windows facing beach, cathedral ceiling, 2 queen beds. Thank you again Christine!!!

I just loved it here! Very clean. Small room but cozy, just enough of everything you need to be comfortable. My boyfriend and i were very happy to stay here and have close access to the beach. Everyone was so nice! I would come back again soon! This time to stay a little linger. Thank you for having us!

What a GREAT little motel. Very clean, easy check in and out! Location is absolutely great....just walk across road and you are on the beach! Love it
