Great local RI Ocean front location! We went there after a long drive from FL and were greeted with friendly service and good NE fair !

Perfect shore side clapboard hole in the wall bar with amazing food and cocktails worth trying. You will want to stay and come back again.

Great spot. If you are looking for a place a bit quieter than the Ocean Mist next door, this is the place. Quick and nice waitstaff. Tasty food. Outdoor seating with a view to die for and access to the water. Perfect little spot.

The Pub at Matunuck Beach in South Kingstown is a down home beach bar that literally is nestled on one of Rhode Island’s many top notch beaches.

Featuring drinks & food flare that is provided by partner restaurant/bar/music venue The Ocean Mist. Legend has it, that longtime Matunuck staple The Ocean Mist is godfather to The Pub. If their is any truth to this tale, then you’re in for a real treat.

The establishment is small, but during the weather appropriate months the Pub extends into the beach, which includes a covered upstairs & patio for gatherings. Beyond the local beach watering hole, The Pub typically has events which include live music, trivia, & other assorted adult activities.

Now for the fine print... The Pub is a Pub or bar at heart, which means leave the children at home or on the beach. This is not proclaimed on any signage upon entering the establishment, but should be evident to common folk with half a brain.

Dog lovers will love this place though, as they regularly host doggy events such as Yappy Hours on Monday’s from 5 to 7PM. They even typically have various doggy treats on hand. What goes better with a beer on the beach, than having a your wet furry friend by your side?

The Pub at Matunuck is your one-stop-shop for good vibes, good views, good booze, and good food. I have spent many an afternoon/evening on the main patio and the roof top deck overlooking the water. We even spotted some dolphins while sipping on their signature spiked "Coffee with Love".

Inside also has a great cozy home town bar feel with its eclectic décor and (my personal favorite) string lights. Between the live music and weekly bingo, trivia and karaoke, each night brings something a little different so you're never bored. And the staff really welcomes you and makes you feel like you're part of the family!

My one complaint about this place is their slogan "Pub For One" has never once held true, because once you step through their door, you never want to leave.

This place will blow your socks off ! The entertainment the bartender all the above. Best beach bar on the Easten seaboard!

I just Grab beer here while waiting for my pizza across the street. thumbs up 5.40 for a draft is a great price!!

We were in from out of town to visit and stumbled upon this gem. Low key vibes, great service, food was perfect bar food and the band was great.

A sunny patio overlooking the surf on a fine autumn day. A Matunuck Reuben of perfectly fried, moist fish. A hop-rich draft brew and good friends' conversation. Attentive service that was pleasant and non-intrusive. Weathered wood and nearby places to explore.

I always enjoy the Pub, laid back and comfortable old style. Nice spot for a mellow afternoon especially when the ocean view decks are open. Just saw Dave Torrey playing his usual good show on Saturday afternoon

Every meal I've had there has been a fantastic experience. It's a special place. The kind of place where the food atmosphere staff and the overall feeling of contentment blend together to make magic. I live in s.c. and this is where I go when I go home

great spot on the water.. only down side at this time of year....its gets cold and windy out side ....you can get a good sunset. but go inside for warm food.....

Had a private party up stairs on the top deck. Best time ever!! Karen was wonderful, the food was great and the bartender was awesome and super helpful!! Over all great experience!! Thank you guys!

Sat on the roof, facing the ocean. I think it made the food taste better. Either way the grub was good and the view amazing!
