We spend a weekend here. We called the mgr for info since we were coming in late on Thanksgiving. We got cottage 14 and the combination code since it is contactless check in/out. It was after 10 pm when we arrived & very tired. The lights were on and deck sweep of every leave though under trees. The studio was warm and soft music was playing, all so welcoming. The room is very big with 2 big closets, a comfortable king bed and all very clean and modern. The kitchenette area had everything we needed and the bathroom was nice. It was very quiet during this off season. We took Hwy 299 from I5, which is difficult road in the dark & about a 2 hr drive. But hwy299 ends at hwy 101 at the ocean near Eureka only 45 min easier drive. We spent most time north of there on Redwood Coast, so beautiful! We look forward to our stay next time.

Our cabin was roomy, comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect for accessing the surrounding sights. The grounds were well maintained and lovely. We will be back again.

Wow! The service has been amazing they are so nice & helpful. The check in was easy, made it nice after our long day, that was enjoyable. Once you open your cottage there was relaxing music playing in our room, the heat was on (it was raining and cold), the lights were on it just made it feel so special & all the little touches make the stay feel extra special and well appreciated that after our long week of hotels. Willow Creek is a small but wonder friendly town you have to stop by and stay at China creek cottage

Room was super clean, loaded with a grill on the deck and a fridge + microwave. Beds were very comfortable and the shower had nice and hot water. 10/10 place to stay we loved it here. Also china the cat is the friendliest cat ever and will try to spend the night with you!

Beautiful park-like setting. Our little cabin was clean and all amenities were provided including coffee and filters. AC works well. We would definitely book again when in Willow Creek.

I am on the road for work most of the year, majority in California. I spend more time in hotels than my own house. My stays are 1 day to 2 months on average. It's not uncommon to be disappointed with the lodging based on Google pictures, NOT the case here. I was extremely pleased with the cottages. I reserved online and was emailed a door code, I did not have to check in or out. My cottage was very clean and perfectly equipped for my stay with a fridge, microwave and a few dishes. The bed and bedding was comfortable. Upon arrival they had the room heated (it was a very cold November stay) and soft music on the TV and a light was on. Each cottage has a bar b q and I made use of that by bringing some steaks with me. I was in cabin 14, my only complaint is that the outlets are not grounded, except the bathroom, which means only place to plug a 3 prong plug like my laptop was in the bathroom. I often work in that area and usually stay much further away due to limited lodging, I will definitely be returning. There is a creek with a small trickle type fall by the RV section and a rock waterfall behind the cottages. Great area to walk/hike.

The Cottages were very cozy, well furnished with kitchens and our own outdoor BBQ. I was working in the Willow Creek area with fellow associates for multiple weeks, and we enjoyed the privacy of cottage living. Reserve in advance, it's the best! Staff was helpful, with a simple call.

Quaint set of individual cabins set on a small hillside. Easy parking in front of cabin and dog friendly too. Room was clean & had everything we needed for our secluded getaway, coffee maker, mini fridge, some cutlery and plates, bbq grill on the deck.
The windows do not have screens in them so if you want fresh air you're going to let the bugs in, but AC good. Cute little town of Willow Creek up the road with a few eateries, grocery store, brew pub, dispensary & espresso shop. Definitely recommend staying here if you're exploring the Redwoods or Six Rivers.

What a great place to stay in Willow Creek! Everything we needed for our 3 day stay in the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage that was nicely furnished. Staff available by phone for any needs. Great AC for the hot temps in July. Most definitely will stay again if ever in Willow Creek. 5 STARS all around.

Beautiful, lovingly maintained and peaceful property. Owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating (we LOVE Blaire). We've stayed at both their RV Park and Cottages, and had a great experiences with each. Also had an opportunity to visit a fundraising Unity concert on site. They have a stage and lovely grounds. Would be great for a wedding venue too. Really enjoyed our stays here and would stay again when the opportunity arises.

Very cozy and comfortable, and a super amazing view. Great prices too. If you're visiting Willow Creek, this is certainly a good place to stay. Super cute campground dog, too. I haven't checked but he seems friendly, just be careful haha.

This is a REALLY BITCHEN SPOT.
I gonna be a regular here. My daughter moved here last year. Lives up on the mountain. I'd rather stay in town when I come to visit. China Cottages are a great place to stay. Very peaceful. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. And the showers have great water pressure. Every cottage has a bbq which was good for me because I'm an excellent cook.
Stayed 2 days in 2 different cottages and they both were clean and unique. Would love to see all of them because no two are alike. I EWILL stay here again.

China Creek Cabins is a perfect spot for a small wedding. Our families stayed Friday and Saturday nights in the beautifully redone cabins, and we had about 50 guests for the wedding. The event space with the grassy area, stage and lights was a whale of deal, but the cabins were a bit expensive. The stage made a great place to serve dinner and a pretty good dance floor thereafter. The lighting was beautiful. The ceremony was held up the hill on what I assume is an old logging road next to a stream. Several guests commented that it was the most beautiful place for a wedding that they had ever seen. The one pain was having the caterer in our cabin using that tiny kitchen from afternoon until late that night. On Sunday morning we discovered that there is a commercial kitchen next to the office that hadn’t been offered to us. That was disappointing.
Overall, China Creek Cabins was the perfect spot for our wedding. I’m glad we explored so many places and finally found this place. We highly recommend for events and family reunions.

We were in Cottage 5. When we walked in soothing music was playing, air conditioning was on which made a great 1st impression and the cottage was tastefully decorated which invited you to come in a relax - feel at home. It was quiet. A Rays Grocery store is nearby. There is a gas grill to cook on so we grilled steak and garlic bread! There is a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The only thing - we did not see China Creek.

There is more to enjoy than cottages here, RVers will love this place! I am so impressed! We stopped for the night during our road trip, and this little RV campground is amazing. There are 35 sites in total. You have full hook-ups at all sites, and about a dozen of the sites can handle super big rigs, up to 50 amps shore power. Wifi is free. About 100 feet away is a little canyon with a small peacefull waterfall, and it's creek runs directly behind the RVs on one half of the campground. Even the restrooms are amazing! It's an obviously old building, but it has a very classy look, and it is immaculate inside. There are three toilet stalls, but "stall" isn't the right word. It's like stepping into a nice fully enclosed closet. You aren't in a public restroom anymore, you are in your own private bathroom. There are also three showers, and again they are immaculate and CLEAN! It's all open, available, and sanitary during this COVID pandemic. Some of the sites are well shaded, and some are wide open. But the entire campground is surrounded by big beautiful trees. This is a little forest oasis, very cozy, quaint, quiet, serene, and the $50 price is very low for such high quality accommodations. A highway runs in front of the property and its road noise is audible, but it is still so quiet that you quickly don't even notice it any more. There was no staff on site today because they are having a grandbaby right now. Congratulations!!! But we were still made to feel so welcome and trusted over the phone. They wrote down my credit card number, and basically said "come in whenever you want, pick whatever site you want, we trust you, and have a wonderful time!" I can't say enough good things about this gem of RV heaven!

What a great place! My wife has decided we are moving in. This will be our new home. LOL
Great natural light in our cottage, quaint, clean, simple, yet all the comforts of home. The bed was more than comfortable, we slept like rocks. Definitely on my highly recommended list of places to go and I will return. Outside porch/deck is inviting, China Creek also provides a BBQ, you never have to leave. Only one small issue, the cottage numbers, at least on our cabin, were hard to see in the dark, recommend darker numbers.

The cottages are sweet. The staff is great. Its not a hotel , be prepared to be self sufficient and you'll have a great time. Willow creek town center is 2 miles west on hwy 299 and there are restaurants and stores there.

I'll just go ahead and live here! My fiancé and I were very happy with our cabin. This is a great place to stay for a very affordable price. Comparable to the price of a best western plus or something similar, but with so much more character and a homey feel. In my opinion it's the best place in the area to lodge.
