Trinity Lake Resort & Marina

I came to Trinity Lake mid-September on my way home after blowing a front fork seal on my motorcycle ride. It was mid afternoon when I decided to pull off down to the marina area and take a break, check out what the lake looked like, and then move on down the road. I stopped at the office and while talking to the lady I asked about the cabins and she said they were running low rates on everything due to the time of year. I ended up renting a cabin and a boat to go check out the lake. The cabin was $135 with tax and the boat was only $115 I think for a few hours on the water and then the cost of whatever fuel used. Cabin was small and nice, stocked with all kitchen ware and bathroom supplies, good view through the trees at the water. The boat was an older Bayliner but had a new 4 stroke engine and moved along at 35 mph. It was a great break from riding 1500 miles with a tank slapping bike.

My family and I rented a boat for a half day fishing trip. Trinity Lake is absolutely gorgeous. The staff at the Marina are wonderful. Kyle, a staff member we met in the Marina store was so kind and helpful who was very excited to share all of his fishing tips with my husband. Sharon at the register was very friendly and fun to talk to. She even had a great fishing stories to share. Aren is the staff member who helped us with our boat rental and he was very professional and easy going. He took our safety very seriously and I really appreciate that, especially when we went out on the lake with 3 kids. The staff here really make the difference and I really found them all just wonderful. The boat was clean and well maintained. We had a great time. I highly, highly recommend stopping here for some fun if you ever are lucky enough to find yourself in Trinity County.

Been coming to this lake my whole life, but recently our family started staying at Cedarstock in the cabins. Very clean space, lots of room for family, big patios you have dinner on, full kitchens. Really what more can you ask for in a cabin in the woods? The restaurant and bar is awesome with friendly staff, and if you need to hop back “on the grid” quick, there is wifi available by the office. But really, staying here is a lovely retreat from real life. We will be back soon!!

My sister and brother-in-law visited us this summer. They hadn’t been to Trinity in many years, and I wanted them to have a memorable time.
I called TLR&M. Everybody was really nice, and super helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the patio boat was—in great shape, super clean and comfortable. Fishing was rotten that day, but nobody cared.
We all had a great time. I thought a day on the lake would be perfect, and it was. Thank you everybody! We’ll see you next season.

Three of us stayed for two nights in the 6-person cabin and we loved it. The cabins were very comfortable and well stocked, the lake was gorgeous (though we didn’t catch anything during our stay here,) and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Happy to give five stars :)
note: they weren’t selling tobacco products in the small marina store “this season” so come prepared it could happen again.

The lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in northern California when the it's full of water 💦💦💦💦 but even when it's not full of water it's still one of the most beautiful lakes in northern California so if you want a great place to take your family and friends for a nice place to go camping and fishing 🎣🎣 stop on by and have fun 💦💦🎣🎣🎣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This place has always been a favorite for my friends and I. The recent renovations by the new owners are absolutely stunning and the cabins make you feel right at home. The staff is so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort for all your summer needs!

Always a great time at tlrm. Whether I'm going for a relaxing stay in a cabin, or wanting a fun day on the lake, the staff is always helpful and friendly. Also their prices are some of the best around. If you haven't been, I highly suggest you make a reservation now for next summer

The staff is 100% the BEST, the lake is gorgeous, the cabins are nice, very clean and stocked with every you need, the boats are well maintained. Can't say enough about the owners and staff. Very friendly and accommodating. It's our annual anniversary vacation spot.

We are local folks who have enjoyed the lake since it was built. Trinity Lake Resort &Marina is a full service Marina. This year under new management, the local friendly vibe returned. Could not be happier because Trinity Lake is one of the prettiest lakes in Northern California. We love the convenience of having our boat in a secure safe place to enjoy year round. Thanks to the crew and staff that look after and make each and every time we go the lake a pleasure. You Rock!!

Would recommend

Spent 3 wonderful days here for my wife's birthday, in a cozy cabin resting on a hillside with a great view of trinity lake.

Open arrival (after a 3 1/2 hour drive from crescent city) we were welcomed by a extremely friendly staff, check in was a breeze. We were also told the cabin was recently renovated with a fresh coat paint. (lovely color might I add)

We had an absolute BLAST at Trinity Lake Resorts!! The staff was very friendly, accommodating, laid back ... a pleasure to deal with. The FUN we had was enough to make us extend our stay beyond our original plans, and then we still didn't want to leave! The lake is so beautiful, the water so pure and clean .. the views - OUTSTANDING! We rented a boat with a pull behind raft, a wakeboard, a jet ski, and it was AWESOME! We stayed in one of their cabins and we were actually surprised by how big it was. I was expecting something small and do-able, but it was big, comfy, and cozy, after a long day on the water; had a great deck to wake up to and a great place to relax with a few beers and a good bbq in the evenings. We can't WAIT to head back and play on this gorgeous lake again!! Thank you, Trinity Lake Resorts for doing what you do!!

I have stayed in a cabin on the lake a few times and they are so cute and clean. The view overlooking the lake is amazing. The employees are very nice and helpful. I would recommend this location to everyone!

The service at the restaurant was not the best, our server seemed as if she wasn't happy with her job. Steak tasted HORRIBLE but we love the owners, great people!

We rented a house boat. Had such a wonderful time on the beautiful lake. Found the customer service to be excellent. We had such a fantastic time and can't wait to do it again.

We rented boats. It was a fun experience. Travis was also a godsend helping my disabled wife to and from truck and docks. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We always have a great time at Trinity Lake. Glad to see that the marina has new ownership, as everything already looks better compared to the last few years.

The people are friendly, it's nice and clean, boats are nice, good place to spend the day lots to do canoeing kayaking boating water skiing fishing, what else do you need?

We had a fine Father's Day dinner there. All the friendly staff made it exceptional.

Shannon and Eric are wonderful people. The food is great. The staff is great, and the music of RXR was amazing.
