Was introduced to this place by one of the guys from work a while ago. It was hard finding good tamales and menudo when coming to the IE from East LA. But I highly recommend this place for their tamales and menudo. They usually have Mexican breads in their show cases but I've noticed they've been holding back on the bakery items since the pandemic. I usually visit this place on Sunday mornings before my day starts and before the games start. Plan on getting there early cus everyone buys them out for their Sunday football breakfast. I recommend their tamales, menudo and a side container of their refried beans. In my pic I show their tamale and beans but the menudo (not pictured) was on the side. I added the scrambled eggs to my Sunday breakfast.

I've been coming here for decades. Why? Their food is delicious, especially their tamales. Make sure you buy their fire roasted salsa to go with them, you won't regret it. I do wish they'd go back to making Mexican Bread. That was good also.

This local Bakery has great tasting Mexican Bread(Pan Dulce). We really enjoy their variety of Tamales so good and hits the spot.
Around the holiday make sure to make your tamale order early because they sell out. Update: currently they have discontinued their Sweet Mexican Bread(Pan Dulce).

La Fuente has been in business for a very long time. I have never been disappointed in their food or their service. This year I wanted to order tamales for thanksgiving. My husband said, “why don’t you order from someplace closer?”.
So I told him if he had another place in mind to order from, he could. We live an hour away from la Fuente. He ordered locally and we were all so disappointed in the place near us. We are completely spoiled by la Fuente. I will drive an hour to get there before I order from someone else from now on!!
La Fuente has reasonable prices, good service, and excellent food.

I love their chicken tamales!! The pozole is delicious and they have a variety of pan duelce! If you like homemade salsa that has heat, their extra hot salsa is the best!!

They accept card and tap to pay! No more panadería items but you can still get soda cans, food and chips!

You wouldn't know it by the neighborhood and sadly that's San Bernardino for you. Maybe the new Mayor will change it but here's to high hope. But anyway, this place has top notch Tamales and great baked goods. Delicious.

This place is so impressive. The entire place is cleaned every single day, they clean their windows inside and out and everything inside is immaculate. The bread is delicious and they always have a perfect variety available. Their food is amazing. I love buying the tortillas and salsas because they are fresh and never disappoint. They make my life so much easier. They are cash only, which I don’t mind but it’s good to know ahead of time. My toddler loves the empanadas so I would suggest those for any first time visitors if looking for lunch the Chile verde and beans are a great combo. 😁👍🏼

I love love love their food but the tamales are to die for! I sometimes drive an hour each way just to have some of their tamales! I've tasted many different tamales growing up in Southern California but no one has compared to this restaurant!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I love the chicken tamales. They have a green verde chile sauce in them thats like pork chile verde except the meat is chicken. 19.99 for a dozen is an excellent price for these delicious tamales. They also sell Pazole, Menudo, Beans. Rice, and salsa. Plus lots of baked goodies. It smells wonderful when you step inside. Make sure to take cash. If you forget they have an ATM inside.

This place has the best green chicken tamales. I used to drive here to get them, when I lived in Riverside area. I now drive from San Jacinto. When we want tamales, this is the place to go.

They have the best tamales in San Bernardino, hands down. Also their Mexican pastries are to die for. I've been going there for over five years because they do it right each and every time. As a ritual I now have tamales for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Good stuff, after moving to San Bernardino I was looking for good tamales and could not find any until I was introduced to La Fuente. I also discovered that they're pan Dulce is really really good freshly made soft moist a lot better than any of the other places in San Bernardino also try their flour tortillas also made daily.
