Snake River Heritage Center

This is one of the places I spent a lot of my childhood, whether that was during symphony rehearsals in the auditorium or voice lessons in either the tea room, ball room or the auditorium. Lots of cool stuff, and I know this place like the back of my hand. Never gets old to go explore, and I will forever love this place. I'm gonna miss it when I leave, but for now I'm enjoying the last year (give or take) I have here with it

I love this building. I appreciate the love for it that those who care for it give so freely. Such a rich heritage of the Weiser community.

Absolutely lovely. Exhibits were thoughtfully arranged and maintained. We showed up on our way home, called the number on the door, and a volunteer was there in minutes. She gave us water, told us the history of the old building, and then went to ALL THREE FLOORS to open windows and turn fans on so we wouldn't be too hot. (And there is a basement too!) Such a rad place. It's only a short day trip from boise too! Please donate and/or buy one of their awesome shirts!

Great historic building. Small museum l, and one wing is a moderate sized performance hall. I love to see the arts in our communities!

A beautiful old venue for many different types of occasions with a rustic old world charm

They had everything! Lots of old stuff, an old switchboard and phone booth. They had a section on the holocaust that was very sobering. A very interesting place.

We use this place for our studio performances...recitals and plays! We are now teaching our classes there, as well! Love the people and their knowledge. And the building itself is just awesome! Top of the line sound system, new lights, and the acoustics can not be beat! I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

The museum is a local treasure. The building itself is worth the visit and the exhibits and volunteer curators are excellent. There is also a first rate theatre with perfect acoustics and a beautiful ballroom with natural light from the large windows on three sides. Tours are by appointment (COVID-19) but if you call the number on the door of the museum, a volunteer will come right over, if they are not already there.

An amazing place with a great deal of history that has in the area. It's free to go through the largest museum in idaho. There is a spot for donations that help keep it open.

Full disclosure, was here for camp site during the solar eclipse. The place is amazing run by volunteers the museum is great. Displays, rooms and a little store provides a history of Idaho. Must stop by when in the area👍

Went to Weiser to view the eclipse. Enjoyed the town and festivities. Stopped by the heritage center to find out more about the history of the area. Nice museum and friendly people.

We were able to visit while our dance studio rented for a performance at the auditorium.

This was an amazing small town museum. Wonderful collection of Americana. Phones, cameras, military, irrigation. I was quite impressed

Great collection of local and other history. Eclectic, maintained with love. Get a guided tour with a local volunteer.

Great place to come and see the past. Excellent food families with older kids.
