Eureka Gold Country Inn

If you're looking for the historic Jackson House Hotel, this is it! It's under the same ownership at the SureStay Best Western down the street, and that's where you actually check-in. The Front Desk agent was very hospitable and kind, she made sure to ask about our itinerary and even made some suggestions for it, going as far as to give us the phone number of a local lady that could give us a tour of certain areas! She might as well have been a personal concierge. At the hotel, you're greeted with immaculately clean public areas, well-lit and with amazing historic pieces on the walls. The room was very spacious, with a vaulted ceiling and tons of room to stretch out. Once inside, we didn't hear a peep all evening, and had a rejuvenating rest there. Beds were cozy, shower was strong and hot, and the heating/AC kept the room perfectly comfortable. Overall a fantastic stay, couldn't ask for a better experience, especially at such a historic spot.

This isn't Eureka Gold Country Inn. It's Eureka Courthouse built in 1879. It was awesome to visit, and they let us see the old courtroom, which they still use today. It's very interesting and worth going to see.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Beautifully decorated, really takes you back to another time. The gem room where we stayed was really nice. The beds were very comfortable, a feeling like your home. Claw foot bathtub. It was very quite, didn't even see anyone. It's very clean as well. You can overlook the town of Eureka from the balcony. Very nice. This is such a cool little town, had a great time!

I love this place... If I could move in and stay forever I would. This gem of a hotel is located on Lonely Highway 50 in Eureka Nevada. I went during the busiest weekend and it was perfect. The Eureka County fair was going on down the road for my boys to visit.. I stayed in my hotel if I wasn't exploring around. I got the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. Clean comfortable and cozy. Simple words to explain the absolute at home feeling you get. Take a trip out of your way and stay at this fantastic hotel...

My sister and I stayed overnight and what a great adventure! We had been booked at the Eureka Gold Country Inn owned and operated by Jeff and Chenalyn Bartley. Opon our arrival we found out that they also own and operate the Jackson House. My sister and I really wanted to stay in the old hotel and Jeff was more then happy to accommodate us. The room as you can see was quite large and the bathroom had a beautiful claw foot tub. There were also modern amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and of course TV. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. If you are looking for a place where you are able to step back in time if only for a night or two the Jackson House is your ticket!!

This place is incredible! And SCARY! Beautifully restored and really unique. Prepare to time travel back to the 1880s. And you just might "see or hear" the hotel's former guests.

Great history. Authentic rooms. Each room is named an different than the others. If you are into paranormal, it's a good place to investigate and next door to the Opera house!

Great hotel dripping with history. It is haunted and we saw spirits in multiple locations throughout the hotel and town.

3rd time staying here at the Jackson House. Great place! Very clean! The people are great! Strongly suggest this place if you pass through Eureka NV

Had a great stay here. Big comfortable room and the staff was great. Able to do laundry, grab food, and rest up. Perfect place to stop.

Victorian charm at it's best. Located in the center of the very charming business district.
