Alpine View Campground

Nice camping ground with tall trees. Facilities are OK, no electricity here, Bathrooms need attention. There is a lake next to the ground, we can go for a hike which is about 3 miles

The restrooms are clean. The spot on the river is quiet because there is not a boat ramp in the is camp so if you want quiet float on the tube water and great shade in each camp also a great area to run and walk

Beautiful clean campsites, especially if you can get a spot close to the lake. Pretty easy to find with the help of Google Maps. Hammock lounging approved!

No service, No showers, No light. This is a perfect campsite for family's to get kids off phones and to get them into nature! The lake water is super awesome:) I highly recommend. NOT A PLACE FOR RVS! Best if you have tents and enjoy the campfire.

Great spots, good amount of shade, and facilities were kept in good order. Close to the water.

Had an amazing time with my friends last year here. Not much water when we went, but they have water spouts. Bathrooms were a bit sketchy, so I'd recommend a good Toiletries kit. Pretty somewhat dispersed campsites, but we were the only ones there, so take that with a grain of salt. No bear locker, be aware.

Gorgeous campground. A friend and I met here and used it as base camp before backpacking Trinity Alps. Gorgeous, peaceful, tranquil, whimsical. My only issue was that not all the sites had bear boxes. Not sure why that was, but it wasn’t a huge deal for us. I imagine for people who brought more than just backpacking food and wanted to truly do some car camping, it would be tricky. Other than that, definitely recommend it.

tons of yellow jackets but the view of the lake is great and the stars at night are really beautiful. 15 min drive to the nearest town with a general store, and tons of places nearby for hiking, swimming, etc

It’s an awesome place for bigger setting camp groups. Definitely was nice coming out here. Loved the trees that you can never get over of looking and taking in the presence of nature. Tons of yellow jackets so bring a lot of bug sprays and candles! Looking at the stars at night at the lake was an amazing experience. Not that many trails around, just roads in the campground. Took a star off because there are no showers (I know there is the lake, but read further below) and restrooms did not have lights. Do not get in that water either at the lake! Took another star off because those waters have leeches in them... enter the water at your own risk!
