Outstanding service and food. Who needs a Denny's or and IHOP or a Waffle House in town when you have a Johnny B's in your town. Our food was ready in 15 minutes. The only thing that needed help were the hashbrowns; if you're the type who wants them a little crispy but not burned I'm pretty sure you can ask them, oh and the omelete I ordered needed more cheese but that was it. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and the bacon was good. The chicken-fried steak was yummy good and thick. The hostess and waitress has smiles on their faces and were very professional. They also have their very own vintage looking ice cream parlor with a 50's 60's look; right what restaurant do you know of that has an ice cream parlor inside their establishment? I felt like I went back in time. Very affordable too. don't change a thing.

From El Paso, went on a golf outing there. Decided to grab food from this place. I ordered the “Famous” Green Chile Philly. It came out immediately after I ordered it. It was piping hot and ridiculously delicious. Great price for just the right amount of food. Highly recommend it!

It was amazing and delicious the staff was nice I had the Hamburger steak and my wife had a seafood platter special of the day.

I got the Johnny B burger. Burger with bacon, ham AND green chile?? What's not to love!!!! Admittedly, the chile was too hot for this white boy so I had scrape most of it off but it was still delish!!
Service was promt, friendly and helpful and price wasn't outlandish.
Restaurant is right of the highway so stopping for a break is easy!

Just happened to be wearing my NAVY veteran ball cap and was completely surprised by a young man that came up to the register while I was starting to pay for breakfast for me and my wife and said that the waitress was supposed to bring him my bill. He politely thanked me for my service and took the check from the lady at the register. WOW! I was completely and pleasantly surprised and humbled all at once. The food was great as was the service. Thank you Truth or Consequences, you folks are the best.

T or C is lucky to have such a terrific place for burgers, breakfast and mexican. The patty melt is perfect. My server warned me against the chicken fried steak. "Its just a frozen steak," she said. Okay, skip the steak but everything else is great. Get a pancake or even the tacos. It's all very good.

The BEST Flavors! A must stop and you won't be disappointed.

Possibly the best western diner I've been to in a decade. - the food quality was honestly amazing, the signature burger with peppers was actually spicy (amazing) and just ... stuffed. plenty of meat.

5 star breakfast! We stopped on our road trip and were worried because all we saw was a Denny’s and McDonalds as breakfast choices but found this place right across the street on Google. What a great find.

Like many places post pandemic they appear to be understaffed with what appears to be one person serving the entire restaurant. Even though that was the case we were served quickly, our food was out in no time and we wanted for nothing.

Breakfast is all in the details because we all know it’s pretty hard to screw up. Here are some of the things that make a 5 star breakfast in my book.

1. Eggs cooked perfectly and served hot.
2. Thick bacon that is crisp and has been patted dry.
3. Light and fluffy pancakes you can cut with a fork.
4. A bottle of warm syrup - no little packs or a small stingy cup.
5. The biggest biscuit I’ve ever seen - flaky, bits of butter in the dough, delicious.

Great service, good food, and a nice atmosphere! I came here on a field trip, and even with a large crowd, the restaurant accommodated us well. The server was friendly, the food was a delight, and even the deserts were really good. Definitely coming back here again!

I'm giving this restaurant five stars because of its location and the quality of food. However just FYI I stood in the entryway looking for a place to sit and it look like it was pretty packed with several tables dirty.. it took 10 minutes for someone to even ask me what I wanted and I just asked if there was an open seating and if so where I would sit. Being new to this restaurant I did not know where I would need to sit down now since all the tables were dirty maybe they were left dirty because of the covid and the 75% capacity restrictions with a turquoise code. Well after finally enough people came in, one of the servers actually came up and told me where I could sit. I sat down at the dirty table cleaned it up in a neat pile for them to be removed thinking that I would be helpful. Took another 10 minutes for my menu to arrive after I asked a waitress for that and finally was able to enjoy a wonderful dinner. From what I overheard from other guests and a waitress nearby is that this was extremely crowded more than usual. Maybe guests were coming in due to spring break etc. Or maybe the day was just too beautiful to stay in. Knowing that it could take long to get out of there I asked for a to-go box immediately upon ordering my meal since I told them I knew that I would end up taking it with me and was thinking that this would be helpful and she said she would bring it right back with the meal. However that did not happen for another 10 or 15 minutes. Well all said and done she finally came back with the box and I quickly placed my remainder of the food in it ask for my check which I got speedily and checked out at the counter after purchasing one of their neat looking cookies.... Good up sale... I know that they were very busy but that is not an excuse not to keep your eye on the door and see if someone needs help. I was a little upset but I realize this is probably a fluke as many of the folks knew the waitresses and I assume have been patrons for lengths of time. Love the food and I am sure that the help would be more courteous and polite if they were not probably wore out and in a rush trying to accommodate all of us. I will return in the future no problem.

The food was delicious and filling, definitely recommend the waffles with strawberry and whipped cream..SOOO GOOD!! You can tell the food was made with love and the service was fantastic and friendly! Relaxed atmosphere to eat at!

Great service, amazing breakfast. Still have yet to try their food during lunch/dinner but I am currently OBSESSED with their bacon, I crave it all the time. Love how the biscuits are large, was only able to finish one slice in the picture shown.

I love this place. I come here when im in town. Im fron out of town but i love this place. The witness with the dirty blonde hair sadly idk her name, i love her shes amazing she has great service for her customers she has and she's just amazing i love seeing her always has a smile on her face

I like it. I think prices are a bit high for a "Diner" (not what I would call a resturant) Not many choices for regular "Diner" style food in TRC thats any good. Never had a bad meal there. Had a hamburger to go once. It was ok but pricey for the quality of the meat and a little stingy with fries. Fries seemed more generous when I've eaten there. I like that they have hard ice cream counter there. Service always good. :)

Went to T or C for some offloading, we stayed at a motel close to this restaurant. Seriously every meal that I had there was excellent, the service was perfect. Staff was nice. Highly recommend.

Johhny B's was busy but we still got great service and our food was hot and delicious. The menu has a great variety(something for everyone) and priced right. Bonus, this place had an ice cream parlor. YUM this place was so GOOD!

Amazing food and staff a must stop!!! We stop through every time while going fishing and there good is amazing you can't go wrong with some fresh cornbeef hash or the Ruben

Great food. Looks like the locals favorite. Staff was awesome. They were super busy. Everything came out hot and fresh.
