Parachute Inn

People there are very polite. Best price in town. Comfortable bed and quiet room. The coffee machine in my room wasn't working but they have coffee near the front desk. They offer free breakfast as well.

Traveling through the mountains on a motorcycle, I was cold, wet, and just wanted a place to crash and get a warm shower. I was surprised how great this place was! Massive shower, organic soaps, shampoos, and lotion, easy to access power outlets, mini fridge, and a breakfast that wasn't over at 8am. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and kind, rooms clean, and the metal sculptures on the property were a blast to look at. Seriously recommend for the price. (I initially picked this hotel because they were the cheapest even!)

My boyfriend and I came here for a little weekend getaway for his birthday, and we love it! It's a great value, way less than the resort towns nearby. The room is clean and the TV is nice, and everyone who works here is so kind. Breakfast was good, hot waffles and various other things. We'll definitely come back!!

What a hidden gem! Wife and I weren't expecting much of this inexpensive highway stop over but were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean, if a little out dated, but that's really the only negative at all. Darren at the front desk is the definition of friendly customer service. The breakfast and dinner they serve are actually good compared to most big chain's dry oatmeal and a waffle maker. The parking area is vast and well lit, with a few neat art pieces scattered about.

Overall, highly recommend staying here. It's not the Ritz-Carlton but it'll sure do!

For all intents and purposes this place looks and is a motel. That's not to say it isn't clean, because it very much is. What makes this place great is the staff. They are some of the friendliest people to own and operate a business. Not only that but the complimentary dinner is a practice I have not seen elsewhere. The prices are extremely reasonable. This is definitely the place to stay if you're looking for a quick 1 or two night stop

The rooms are decent, lots of room. Beds are a little firm for me but not to bad. Our room had an awesome view of the mountains. And the service was awesome, they serve a continental breakfast and dinner.

Honestly for the price this place is 5 star!!! The rooms are clean and comfy, the mountain view is perfect, and the staff are extremely friendly!!! We booked in at 5 a.m from being on the road all nite , they booked us all the way until the following morning:)

A little older, not fancy, very comfortable. Best value we've found. Fantastic staff, breakfast, and dinner, a fridge, and microwave in room. We will not be staying anywhere else when visiting the area. We love. Love. Love it.

Friendly laid back staff. No frills accommodations. Room condition and cleanliness acceptable. 420 friendly. I never planned to stop in Parachute, but the Parachute Inn was a great place to spend the night given the circumstances.

Had all the amenities you need, generous with toiletries, fast wifi. Complimentary breakfast and dinner. Night front desk staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay again if I'm travelling through.

Traveling from Utah, I stayed one night at the Parachute Inn Feb. 3 2013, (Superbowl night).

When I arrived, it was late and the roads were dark. But this motel was the best bargain in Colorado! The staff was friendly, the room rate was decent and there was even some hot food.

The bed was large, the room clean and updated TV. So, don't get back on the highway, stop here.

Oh, there is a car wash just across the main highway before you get back on I-70.

Spent the weekend at the Parachute Inn. When we arrived ...which was quite late the staff said "Hey we still have some dinner for you"...three different kinds of soup. I never have had a motel provide dinner, even if it was only soup. The room was clean, nice towels, flat screen TV, cable, free internet and the room was nice and spacious with a refrigerator, microwave, and a table. The bed was great, very comfortable and when we asked for a late checkout they were happy to accomodate...plus this was the lowest price in town...very happy to stay at the Parachute Inn, the staff were very friendly and helpful...

Originally I was only going to stay for a night but weather kept me there for almost a week....and let me tell you THIS PLACE IS GREAT. The people that work here went out of their way to treat me well. Everytime I saw an employee (or even fellow guest for that matter!) they always went out of there way to stop and say hi and make me feel welcome. I felt more like a neighbor than a motel guest! ....
Parachute is a small town but everything I could have needed or wanted was within walking distance (this is a huge plus for me)... also the room I was in was spotless when I arived with clean sheets, towls, and more soaps and lotions than I knew what to do with, and I'm confident it will be that way for the next guest....
experinces like this are why I almost always choose to stay at small hotels/motels rather than the "big chains"...

This place is amazing, great amenities a ND a wonderful staff. Great rates and a killer breakfast. If you happen to be going through the area it's the best place for a little r & r.

I love how welcoming they are&full of good vibes and the rooms are pretty nice too .Also the view the mountains in the morning are so beautiful. I'd definitely recommend staying here (:

Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable for my overnight travel stop on my trip.

Where's the 10 stars button when you need one? The staff here is extremely friendly, treated us like family, food was life and very tasty, the room was perfect, awesome location, great price, I can go on! Come here, you will not be disappointed! From our drive from Orlando up to here trying many different hotels, this is my Favorite One !!!

Stayed in a 420 friendly room in the back and had our dog. It was perfect for a couple nights to just smoke. It was kinda awkward because people live there, but I would still come back to parachute inn. It's not top notch so if that's what you're looking then find another place

Good rates and clean rooms, micro, fridge, professional friendly staff. No problems, one of the best values around the western slope
