Stormy conditions that we didn't want to drive in this evening so we stopped here. Such a beautiful part of America!!

Easy to find and easy to get to the pull through space we got. Spaces are VERY well marked.
Simple phone call and we had our spot waiting!
This will be on our list of favorite places to plug in and let bad weather pass next trip through.

What a wonderful place to stay. Renee was the most nicest hostess.. answered all questions and was so helpful and understanding.. they have everything you need, so nice and clean..will be staying here again for sure!!

Nice campground and very friendly staff. We had a tire blowout on our camper and called ahead to leave a message that we would be arriving after hours. We just needed one night. Nice quiet area. We were prepared for the trains during the evening and never heard them. Wasn’t an issue at all. We would definitely stay here again.

The owner Darrin of this rv park is the nicest person. His staff is the best. I would recommend this park to everyone! Please go see them, lots of things to see around this town, we stayed for of the 4th of July this was the best time we have had. Please ask for Darrin to help you with your travel plans!

We only stayed 1 night. Came in late, so called before closing. Manager was so super nice, told us our spot for the night. It was pull thru! Super nice park, friendly staff and I heard absolutely no noise from highway or the trains! I would highly recommend this park! We may have to stay here on our way back through!! I have been staying here for almost four months now and it is a great place.. staff and owner are super nice/friendly... If there are any issues all you have to do is let them know and it will get fix ASAP. Great price to stay here. Other locations offer a more expensive price with electric included but they are still cheaper here between the site rental and electric. I will definitely be staying here again when I come through New Mexico. All will be missed!

Very nice staff. Large pull-through site allowed us to keep our towed vehicle hooked up. We only stayed one night, so didn't use any amenities. I was happy to be able to buy an ice cream bar at the desk, too. Great price!

A gem in the rough starting at only $22 a night.. We pulled in after dark to a spacious site with full hook-ups. The obliging owner was off-duty and said to just pay in the A.M. Wifi adequately allowed us to use all our gadgets. Would definitely stay here again.

I called to check for open spots on my upcoming trip. The very nice lady informed they were booked but would let me know if something opened up.

We'll only 5hrs later she called me to inform me she called some of the people herself to confirm reservations and found someone that couldn't make it.
Sadly I made a reservation down the rd. She did all that work for me and was still only happy that I had a place to stay that night. You can't teach this kind of customer service. 5 stars from me just from over the phone service.

We got in late and night registration was easy and straight forward. Showers/bathroom was very clean and heated. Our site was level which was a plus because we didn't want to deal with blocks. The wifi was amazing, super fast and never dropped us. For 22$ a night this place is a deal. Yes, you're near the freeway and railroad tracks so it can be a little noisy but we had no problem with it. Thanks Bar S!

Clean and quiet park. Sadly the weather wasn't good while we were there. Had paid for a month, as we were considering moving to the area. Unfortunately, the altitude proved too high for my fiancé, who has medical issues. Though they clearly state "No refunds" on their paperwork, they saw their way clear to reimburse us for the remainder of the month. Thanks, Evonne!

By far the most bang for your buck here. Worried about parking your 40ft + fifth wheel, no problem with easy level pull through spots. Full hookup, cheap big machine laundry, free wifi, right next to fuel and food options, easy access to freeway FOR $26 A NIIGHT.... I mean what more do you need for a night or 2 stop along the 40? Will definitely make this our stop each time passing.

We needed a place to stay and got the last available spot.
The manager was very pleasant and easy to get along with.
The RV spots were close but had everything you needed. The bathroom and shower were clean. I'd stay again if in the area, but probably call ahead for a reservation.

They were very accommodating. Very nice people. Once I told them my wife was disabled they put us right next to the handicap bathroom. Yes there are a lot of trains but you don't really notice them. We heard a train whistle once, when we got there.

Stayed one night, EXCELLENT. Super friendly and helpful “Captain Bob” is the host. I was traveling back home to Missouri from Vegas, and logistically would have worked out better to spend the night in Santa Rosa, NM, but the host was a real jerk on the phone. I’ve discovered that if it starts out bad, it generally doesn’t get any better. Captain Bob made the difference, He went out of his way to be accommodating, which I really appreciated. Bar S is located right off of interstate 40, easy on and off. I thought the railroad track behind the park might be an issue, but it turned out no big deal. Be careful of the water pressure, it is definitely robust. Turn the valve on slowly. I would highly recommend Bar S!!!!

Love it here . Very clean nice park and clean shower rooms , nice staff and very clean lodge and has washers and dryer’s. And breathtaking scenery surrounded.the sunsets are majestic here . Mount tayler is a beautiful mountain to be able to see all the way from Albuquerque but here in Grants/Milan New Mexico it’s all mountains and wonderful people and the Zuni Chaco turquoise shop is just a block away and

Much to do here-hiking the trails around all the mountains I’m told the glass mountains /cave is great but I don’t as told it’s not open this time of year . I hate that I’ll mis it this year to yo and see this ice volcano.and also the great couple that own this park are genuinely good laid back people they do some ropeing in there arena we can watch right out are window it’s peaceful here no crime no drama really great place to stop and take a break from the road out here .

Lived here full time for 2 1/2 years. Felt very safe and the area was kept immaculate the whole time. Enjoyed the staff so much! Would still be there if my job hadn’t taken me away! So affordable, and run so well, really can’t be beat!

This park is clean and well maintained with ample facilities. The staff and owner are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and truly love what they do and it shows in the way they maintain the facility. The price was reasonable. This park is one I would recommend to anyone passing through the area. Shopping and local attractions are available, and laundry facilities are located on the premise. I will use this RV park again.
