We live in the Kamiah area and have gone into Jacob's Lumber for the typical building goods but a year or so ago they started carrying home goods and decor. My wife enjoys browsing the items which are geared to western or outdoor motif. We have also bought gifts there and souvenirs. I thought I would review it because you probably would not know they carried all that since the store front looks like a lumberyard

Love the new home wares they've added to their offering. Purchased hostess gifts and new home presents there and those that receoved them, loved what they got. While it IS a place to get lumber and other building materials, my purchase was mainly household type wares which I loved!

I've been in the construction industry for near 30 years and I can tell you Jacob's commitment to customer service is second to none. I can buy building materials anyplace, what I get from Jacob's is customer service, something most lumberyards, and suppliers in general, never figure out. Jacob's people are friendly and helpful from the minute you walk in the door. When the inevitable minor problem crops up, especially on larger projects, it's never a problem. Jacob's takes care of it immediately and in stride. In today's business climate they are a rarity and I'd bet money the other lumberyard in town hates them. From the customer stand point Jacob's Lumber can't be beat!
