We passed through town the second week in Feb 2024. Was hoping to stop in for a soak but was completely closed up.

What I appreciate about La Paloma most is how the owner/management has a passion for both sharing, and protecting, these sacred waters. It's a small, quiet, humble place where I experience the deepest healings and relaxation. Come to La Paloma if you are looking for that kind of Truth. If what you want is Consequences, there's another hot springs in town, more social, where you can get talked-at by creepy old men while young superficial girls in bikinis take pics of themselves doing handstands for their insta page. Thanks La Paloma for keeping it real.

I’ve just returned from my second visit to La Paloma and I’m already planning my third. Their pools range from 96° all the way up to 110°. So there are lots of choices all dependent on your preference. The soaking rooms are small and very private so there’s no need for a bathing suit. They also have a massage table in them so you can cool off for a bit and then go back into the lovely tub. I love to watch my arms float in the crystal clear water. And look at all of the lovely rocks and gravel on the bottom. It’s also fun to peek out of the overflow hole.
The staff are lovely. I have yet to meet anyone who wasn’t welcoming. I just really enjoy the serene, pleasant atmosphere. Somehow soaking really does take all your cares away and put you in a very calm state of mind.
My room-number three-was perfect. Two queen size beds and decent kitchenette. We brought our own breakfast and lunch fixings which was great for snacking around soaks. Don’t make the mistake I did the first time and book for only one night. It’s not long enough. Two was lovely, next time maybe three.

Incredibly charming place to stay in ToC with easy access to rustic, natural indoor bath springs (from early morning to late at night). Make sure you check our the footbaths in the bathhouse. The property is also beautiful — cozy hammocks, nice chairs, very quiet and perfect for a little getaway. Everyone i met working here was super helpful and nice.

I love this place. My partner and I make a habit of visiting one or twice a year. The fire pits and hammocks are the best. The staff is friendly and the rooms are great. The beds are comfortable. The outdoor spa is nice and rather small and doesn't feel as enchanting but very clean and quiet.

We have been twice (once 2017 winter and once 2018 spring). Both stays have been amazing. The hot springs are really relaxing and private. As a guest, you have access 24 to 5 private springs. These are also springs, not tubs with hot spring water pumped into them. The overall ambiance of the bathhouse and hot springs was very relaxing, and it was good for meditation.

The rooms, although small, are efficient, clean, and comfortable.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, including the bathhouse cat! We were just enjoying the sunset and the cat decided our laps were the perfect place to take a nap! He was a cutie.

I would move to New Mexico just to be closer to this place. I wish I could bottle the feeling I had driving in at night with the desert breeze and smells. The staff are super nice, place is very clean, water is minimally treated with chemicals. Office also has all kinds of lovely healthy snacks and lotions and things for sale. Our room was basic but cute and comfy. We sat under the stars after soaking and it was like being close to the sky. It was so peaceful and beautiful. If you are anywhere here you MUST visit. Simply other worldly.

This is a really special place! It doesn't look like much when you're driving in, but the court yard is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The soaking tubs are a bit dated, but that's the only negative about them. You have 24 hr access to them while you're staying at the hotel. The water is very hot and comes right out of the ground through the gravel bottom of the tubs. This place is well worth the very affordable price.

Such a great stay and it felt like the stress of the world 🌎 was lifted off my family and my shoulders every time we took a dip. Thank you Cyndi for the serenity and experience.

Absolutely fantastic, I love the atmosphere of this place. 24-hour access to some of the pools if you rent a room which is absolutely awesome. The Rake really can't be beat depending on which room you decide on or get. It's within walking distance of downtown even though downtown don't have much. every time I've been here the staff has been different but they've always been pretty friendly. I crashed out last night and a hammock for about three and a half hours under the night sky. the only real suggestion I have is the go ahead and ditch the flood lights on the east side of the compound that shine into the courtyard. They give off too much light pollution obstructing a view of the Stars. maybe use more ground lighting instead.

Everything is tranquil and beautiful! Quaint little rooms around the courtyard and beautiful grounds. The new addition rooms are beautiful and classy with all the pretty touches, like home away from home. I love the subterranean like bath houses. So peaceful and inexpensive. The second room from the entrance is my favorite. Will be staying here every time we come to town to visit.

Our stay at La Paloma was extremely enjoyable. Our room was cozy and quiet, I don't know how full the facility was but we didn't encounter any problems with other visitors or noise.
And I can't say enough good things about the hot bath experience. It was simply divine. I will definitely be returning and recommend it to anybody who likes hit mineral baths, even if you don't want to stay at the facility. Just go have a soak, you will enjoy it!

Absolutely loved my stay here! 24 hour access to the spa, rooms were lovely, walking distance to restaurants, serene environment. The staff were extremely polite, even though we didn't get off the road to check in until 4:00 am. They even accommodated us when we decided to stay another night. We both got massages, and I must say, Andre' has got to be the BEST masseur ever. I cannot wait to come back to this awesome place!

This was my first visit to La Paloma. The woman that checked us in was very nice and knowledgeable. These bathhouses are over 90 years old, and they are absolutely charming. La Paloma is the only place in the area that doesn't have to pump their water out of the ground. Our visit was very enjoyable and incredibly relaxing. Can't wait to go back!

Went for a soak in the hot springs. They have multiple small rooms where the spring water directly feeds into. I went for a 1/2 hour soak and that was plenty. I recommend getting out of the water regularly so that you avoid overheating. They also have water for sale, which was great because I definitely needed it. They also have showers and towels. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Once again La Paloma hot springs meets my expectations. Clean& quiet. They also have foot tubs if you don't want to go for a full body soak. My favorite part about this place is that it is rustic. The pools are hot, clean and ready for you to walk right into the water. La Paloma is built around a natural flowing Hot Spring. Other Springs around town require you to fill your own tub which takes away from your soaking time. Very nice relaxing soak La Paloma can't be beat. La Paloma hot springs also has a pretty cool history as to the beginnings of the inn. Be sure to ask about it.

Fantastic place, very clean and relaxing. Excellent for a quick getaway from busy life. Affordable, staff very friendly and accomodating. Prompt and courteous service, will definitely recommend very much. Thank you Lucille for such an amazing massage, combined with the 103 degree hot mineral waters soak, it's definitely a great soothing experience. The cottage has everything you can think available to you, fully equipped kitchen, living room with cable TV and free WiFi and 2 full bedrooms with a king/queen size beds. Super quiet and comfortable. There is a grill just outside with tables to dine and a couple of super comfy hammocks. Most guests keep to themselves you'll hardly notice anybody else around. Making this a favorite place to return in the future!

One of the only two natural flowing hot springs in the town. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Private suites that are beautiful. Its been there since 1920 for obvious reasons. Definitely worth checking out and stopping to relax in one of their many pools.

Anniversary celebration. Of the nine places we've stayed in town over the years, this place exceeded my expectations! Many pools to choose from, single, double and large swimming pool. Relax relax relax!! Price was very reasonable. Loved the private grounds. BBQ,pets, bon fire... All wonderful 😊

This is my 4th stay here and I absolutely love the experience. The historic bath house, the charming rooms, and the excellent atmosphere are relaxing and keep me coming back again and again. The artesian bath house has water ranging from 99 degrees and up, providing penetrating heat and total relaxation from a half hour soak. An overnight guest gets you privileges at both bath houses and unlimited soaking at the main bathing house. Most of the rooms have kitchenettes and are perfect for a weekend getaway, alone or with friends. The price point is amazing for what you get. This is a wondered place to stay for a night or two, to reconnect with yourself and relax! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
