Indian Springs Bath Houses

These reviews are nuts. The owner wasn't rude or anything like that. I knocked on the office, he popped straight out, explained everything quickly, and I went to soak in the large tub in a minute or two tops. The larger tub was perfect for summer heat as it isn't insanely hot but definitely warm and cozy. This was such a a cool experience for $5. Not a bougie establishment and, as some reviews have stated, if you need a white-washed, fancy spa atmosphere go to the dozens of other options. If you want authenticity and not to contribute to the weird Airbnb style takeover and commodification of this cute town, go here!

03/13/24 - These two bath houses are right down in the hot spring aquifer. It’s one of the older places in TorC but the price is right and you get the pool to yourselves. No crowds! The employee was super nice.

I only use the baths. The two baths are deep, one being a single, the other large enough for up to four people. My husband and I love the tub and the price is best in town.

Great little hotspring. Very hot. $5 per half hour per person. Large pool, would accommodate 5-6 comfortably. Loose, deep river rock floor. Wonderful place to stretch out your muscles and joints. Highly recommend this therapeutic pool.

Enjoyed a truly wonderful half hour experience bathing in this magical hot bath. The water is very clear and it's temperature extremely warm allowing for a relaxing full body experience. The stones at the bottom are a gentle massage to the soul of the feet. All this for $5!

Finally decided to give this well-reviewed, locals-favorite hot spring a try. I had previously done a "preview" tour of all the hot springs in town, and this one felt spooky to me back then. So glad I changed my mind! The temp was perfect!! Dennis, the owner(?), has been nothing but cordial and accommodating with every phone call and the service as well. I will be coming back regularly from now on

Came here last minute on a Monday and got a private hour long soak for $10. Rustic, no-frills and perfect if you're just looking to enjoy a quick soak. The pool was large, perfect temp with river stone bottom that felt great on the feet, very peaceful.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Inexpensive and high value. The manager is a wonderful human with a high vibration. We’ve been to hot springs all over the world and this was one of the best. Very authentic and a solid earth connection.

Great retreat. Been coming for years. The rooms are old, but kinda add to the experience. The water is healing, the owner is very nice, but quiet and loves a cooked meal. We always share a meal or two with him and always leave our leftovers.

I stayed at Indian Springs for 2 months, and felt very comfortable there. The kitchen is loaded with anything you might need, and the beds are comfortable. The bath houses are some of the best in the area, because they are deep, private and just the right temperature. The people who run the bath houses and manage the rooms are very attentive, and keep up the property very well. I enjoyed my stay, and would visit again.

First time experiencing T or C hot springs. I enjoyed this no frills, rustic, down to earth establishment. A great price to soak for a while.

Some of these reviews are mean. The manager is quiet, who cares. I don't go to hot baths to talk to people. This place is great. My husband and I went for years. We're not in the area anymore but I was just thinking of this place. Plus, it's private and cheap!

I visited Indian Springs for first time 25 years ago. There are no other tubs quite like them in T or C and I have visited most of the hot springs in T or C throughout my life a.d the surrounding area. I saw complaints about the owner in other reviews. I suspect they come from tourists who would be better served at one of the more expensive and pretentious newer spas that have sprouted up, one of them owned by Ted Turner. Those tourists would be better served st the spas that cost a minimum of $25-$50 per hour for a soak and have the workers robotically treating people "nicely." If you want to experience a historical treasure in terms of hot springs and forgo the hot springs built for the rich, Indian Springs is the place to go along with the Charles Hotel if your visiting
T or C.

For bathhouse, not hotel: it is "rustic" to say the least, but immaculately clean. The gravel bottom is wonderful, and the water is deep enough to float comfortably. You cannot beat the price. I will definitely be going back.

Stumbled upon this place because Riverbend was closed. I’m so glad it was closed and that this place was open. It saved me a chunk of change and the rustic, private, clean tub was what I needed. The owner is quiet and polite. He doesn’t take cards though, so make sure you bring cash.

Great service fron the man running the property $5 to go soak yourself in his private spring for 30 minutes totally recommend !

I love the new look. And how peaceful And quiet it is. Great place for relaxing and just enjoying the hot water. Has done wonders for my lower back pain.

Used the larger pool and it felt so good. Owner was nice and facility was clean. Reasonable price for those not staying there.

After my soak, I felt so good. Definitely going to return the next time I am in the area.
