Loved this camp ground. The spaces weren't bunched together, area was very well maintained. The river front spaces all had access to the river very easily and the park host was very friendly and helpful. Plan to make this the families new go to over Indian Mary even if there's not a play structure for the kids.

Dry tent or small RV camping, no water, no hookups. Great camp hosts. Quiet camping, busy boat ramp. Lots of bird watching

Beautiful day use & camping along the river. Tent sites with tables, a yurt, vaulted toilets & a boat ramp.

We stayed here in September before a river trip. Great campground overall...location, very clean bathrooms, ice you can purchase instead of having to go into town with BLOCK ICE too! Deb, our host, was really helpful...friendly and all around awesome. A true gem. She went above and beyond to help us out when we had some car trouble. She really made our camp experience a great one, not to mention, aided in saving our river trip!

Our family loves to raft and kayak the Rogue River, so when we are not on the permit section, we frequently stay at Alameda CC and play on the river. One of the reasons we stay at Alameda CC is that we love Shela, the camp host. She is so friendly and helpful! She spends all day taking care of campers, cleaning sites, restrooms and making sure all the campers are comfortable, selling firewood and ice. Shela is very informative regarding local activities. She monitors behavior in the campground, making sure campers are comfortable, and have firewood if needed, following rules and enjoying their camping experience at Alameda.
Thanks Sheila!

I have to really give a big shout out to Sheila out there at Almeda. She went above and beyond what I expected from a camp host. She even greeted me the next morning with a hot cup of cappachinno. It was very delicious and warmed me up on a cool morning. Sheila was very friendly and was on the ball making sure we had all that we needed. Her friendly disposition turned our camping experience from good to out of this world great. We look forward to seeing Sheila the next time we are in the area again.

Campground host was friendly and appropriate about
the rules of the campground which insured an enjoyable and safe environment for our large group to camp. She was up at 6 am cleaning the bathrooms to make sure the camp was clean in this time of Covid.

The new camp hosts Dee and Troy were great. Upheld the rules but never rudely. Had sweet gifts for the kiddos and were all around a great addition to our annual trip.

Our favorite campground along the Rogue. Good fishing spot, an area where we can swim in the river and a boat launch for rafting. Relatively quiet compared to other spots. Low key.

Being a solo female explorer, it was nice staying at a place where I felt safe while enjoying nature. The hosts were very active with all campers, and watched out for everyone. I will definitely be back.

I've stayed at quite a few camps over the years and I found this campground to be one of the best! The host and hostess make that way. They keep it clean and quiet and are very helpful.
