Just passing through and only stayed overnight, but immediately were surrounded by kindness. A friendly dog and a kitten came up to greet us right away! Easy check in, got help with hookups and even were provided with an adapter. Nice level sites, clean bathrooms. Cute gift shop. Really enjoyed chatting with the lady in the office (sorry didn’t ask for your name).Thank you for all your help.
Lori, the owner is a great host and animal lover. Thank you for your hospitality, it was great chatting with you at night on the bench while watching your playful kitten. Great location, right off 90, food within 5 min walk, gas station across the street. It was nice to relax after a long drive.

We stayed 5 nights for a family reunion in Hardin. Laurie’s campground is spacious, quiet and very clean. Bathrooms and laundry are super clean and large. Laurie makes you feel like family, helping you get situated, and checking on you for your needs while you are there. One suggestion to people visiting. Not all sites have fire rings. If that is important to you, ask when you make your reservation or bring your own.

This was a great half way point for our trip to glacier national park. We got there late but there were still people In the office and the lady there was super nice. They seemed to not have it all together (computer system down, mixed our site with another person, and price at first was different then what I originally was told but everything was fixed and the stay was good nevertheless. Clean bathrooms. They do an ice cream social every night, we missed it but I thought the concept was neat and the building used was open when we got there which was nice bug free air conditioned place to eat our dinner. Overall great experience!

Absolutely wonderful place! My husband and I were traveling from Oregon. Car wouldn’t start so then Jim (towing/mechanic on duty) towed us to the campground for the night. He went above and beyond to help us out and actually fixed our truck! He is one of a kind! Lori was wonderful in helping us out while we were there and we loved the cats and dog! The bathrooms and showers were clean and private, campground was quite and clean, and had a convenient store across the way and door dash delivered us some pizza! Thank you so much to both Jim and Lori for going above and beyond to help us out. We will always appreciate you guys and hopefully someday be back!

Great campground! So clean and the showers were awesome. And nice to have a hot shower with great pressure after long day of traveling. The customer service was phenomenal! Rare quality these days and appreciated! Easy off and on location from the highway. If we are back this way, will definitely stay again! Thank you!’

My husband and I needed a place to stay for 2 weeks while I recouped from eye surgery performed in Billings.( I was not allowed to return home to Cody during that time because the elevation was too high .) Staying at a motel for that long was not feasible, so the only option was to stay in our camper.
Grandview CG in Hardin was the closest place that could accommodate us for the duration. How fortunate for us!
The campground was comfortable and clean, with lovely trees full of Robin's, Doves and Western Kingbirds. Lori, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Equally nice was that the campground was pet friendly, and our dog settled right in, and felt as welcome as we did.
We heartily recommend Grandview to travelers looking for a friendly, affordable place to stay.
Thanks, again, Lori, for your hospitality.

The owner Lori wad helpful and very nice. We had to hold up a couple of days due to weather,l. Lori was extremely flexible, allowing us to keep extending our reservation until the weather passed. This is not a fancy RV resort. It is a lovely campground with a home feel. There are both tent and RV sites. We had site number 10, which was very level with plenty of space around us. The cell service was very good as was the cable. The bathrooms were clean. The location is great. In the afternoons we could hear an occasional train but never heard one st night. Also did not hear traffic from the nearby road.

I love it here and will definitely come back. The owner Lorie will help you with anything you need. The campground is clean and sites are a good size. It is quiet. Ice cream socials are great too.

Great people (and friendly cats) at this park. As an added bonus they have a towing company side huddle for those of us that get stuck nearby.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great experience, Lori, (the owner) is so accommodating and very kind. We had a few RV issues and Ed stayed and helped us until 11:30pm. I highly recommend Grandview😃.

The owner here is super nice. We called around 9 PM and she met us at the front desk when we arrived and checked us in - She was super friendly and helpful. Our camping spot was exactly what we needed. The bathrooms were pretty clean and no one was too loud or rowdy. Would definitely come back.

A welcome place to rest on my journey! The shower was very warm, restroom was clean, laundry room neat and tidy, laundry machines modern, working well and fairly priced. The ice cream social was a lot of fun, and the ice cream delicious. When faced with a thunderstorm with potential hail, the hosts made the game room available for myself in a bicycle, and 2 guys on Harley motorcycles, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

The staff makes this place! We were passing through and really appreciated the friendly service.

Also, some of the best and cleanest showers I’ve come across. The design of the bathhouse is pretty brilliant IMO. Clearly clean. I could tell that the staff took pride in creating a good clean experience.

Of all the campgrounds we stayed at on our 2-1/2 week vacation, this one knocked it out of the ball park. Staff is kind and the park clean. They have a terrific game room with a nightly ice cream social. Their bathroom and showers were clean and very nice.
The staff were truly just amazing. They set up the sprinkler for my 3 year old Grandson to run through... so sweet! They made sure to make him feel special and treated him like they were old friends. He loved everyone!!!

We had a tire blowout 3 miles out of Hardin which delayed our arrival. Camp host was waiting for us and escorted us to our site in the dark. She also gave us some great recommendations for tire shop. We bought tires the next day delaying our departure. No worries! Host was great about letting us extend. The bathhouse and laundry facilities are very clean and well equipped. Great place and if we are close to Hardin again in our travels, we’ll be back!

Last summer, on July 23, 2022, I drove 520 miles from Chamberlain SD to Little Bighorn Battlefield arriving just before it closed. Not knowing the area, I'd assumed there'd be camping around the corner but one of the rangers said the nearest camping was in Hardin, 17 miles to the northwest. First I went to KOA because it had more reviews than the other camping area, but the office was closed at 7pm and no one answered the phone. The process to get a site afterhours was confusing. So I decided to drive around the camping area and when I reached the tent part, everybody was on top of each other, completely unappealing. To myself I said, Let me check Grandview Campground & RV Park, 1.8 miles back down the road, across I-90.

In the office there was a woman with short silver hair named Joanne. She was helpful and said she'd get the lady who does the bookings, Lori. We went back outside--the gorgeous blue sky still alight-- where Joanne pointed out Lori who was in a golfcart helping some customers. When Lori was done I asked if I could see the tent campsite. "Jump in," she said. Between us was a black poodle, whose name Lori told me was Mr Puddles. Lori was very friendly and folksy, easy with conversation, which I loved. She had to make a quick stop to check on something and not only did Mr Puddles remain next to me but he put his front paw on my thigh.

At that moment I knew I was staying at this campground, no matter what the campsite looked like, no matter the price because I felt safe and welcomed here. To experience customer service like this in this day and age--I live in NYC--to me was extraordinary. Where KOA had little lots with tents nearly touching each other, the camping area that Lori showed me was a huge grass lawn with a little stream at the far edge and only had one tent on it. Oh yes! And the price was less than KOA. We rode back to the office, I used my credit card, pitched my tent, then asked about a place to eat. Joanne said if I hurried I could get to the 3 Brothers Bistro on Main Street, which also turned out to be a wonderful experience--great wine, pasta, pizza, service--I dined at the bar.

Back at camp I went to sleep easily and slept well then got up at the crack of dawn to return to Little Bighorn. The shower/bathrooms couldn't have been cleaner. The water was hot and the area was spacious and smelled good. Lori adds little touches--2 armchairs, magazines--to make the place more homey. There were washers and dryers next door and everybody in the camp seemed to enjoy the atmosphere as much as I did. Today is January 21, 2023 and I'm writing this only now because I never forgot Lori's graciousness and kindness to me, after I'd been driving 11 hours and was just recovering from Covid. So if you want authentic hospitality and a pleasant stay, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Grandview Campground & RV Park.

I cannot describe how thankful i am for the owner of this campground and the mobile mechanic who operates from there. A tire broke off of our truck in the middle of the night. while we were pulling a travel trailer, luckily we did not crash, but we were stuck, partially out on the highway. We called 911 and nobody ever showed up. Our roadside assistance connected us to grandview campground, they woke up late just for us, got parts and came out to rescue us. The mechanic was able to replace the broken lug bolts and put on the spare. He towed our trailer back to their camp and we followed. They really went above and beyond. Also great rates for camping and trailer storage. Thank you so much.

We stayed one night and we were happy with our stay. The bathrooms were clean. The showers were great. The lady in charge greeted us even though we arrived at 10:30 at night. We had talked with her during the day and we had problems with traffic while traveling. Even though it's only a mile or so from the freeway it is a quiet place.

We tent camped and it was the perfect stop over spot, nothing fancy but just what we needed! Level ground, plenty of space, clean bathrooms, and WARM showers which was amazing after a couple sweaty days. Bonus for the cats and dogs that we got to pet!
