AMAZINGLY beautiful! From the river to the lodge to the meals... Beautiful! The guides are top-notch and the Big Horn doesn't disappoint. The lodge staff is incredibly professional. Rebecca and John are so wonderfully accommodating. Sheri is hands-down the best chef - from the prepared lunches, to the special breakfasts and the amazing dinners. I go back every year and I'll continue until there are no fish left in the Big Horn - Ha!

Located on the Big Horn River known for its outstanding trout fishing, we experienced a one of a kind experience from our arrival to our departure. The chef serves gourmet meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to our personal taste and the log-hewn lodge is located on the banks of the river. This was just the beginning of our fishing trips on the river with our outstanding guides, John, Dell and Sam. Highly recommended. Check it out!

A slice of paradise under a great big sky. The staff are all 100% great. The food is world class. The lamb with mushroom risotto might be my favorite plate in the world. Can't wait to come back, catch more big fish and have more great times. Thank you everyone!

Eagle Nest is high on our list! We have been 5 times and will definitely return. Besides the fishing, which is amazing, the staff couldn't be more attentive. Everything from the meals created by Sherry (5 Stars), to the staff that makes our stay over the top comfortable! If you are looking for fishing the amazing Big Horn and getting pampered at night, this is the place for you!

We just spent a week at The Eagle Nest - our third in total! What a blast the fishing with Seth was! How delicious was the food from Sherie and the team and how comfortable was the Lodge? All were excellent and with such wonderful hosts as Rebecca and John how could we not have had a fabulous time?!

"I fished from Eagle Nest about 7 times. It has consistently been well managed and an excellent experience.
Recently I've taken my son and two of my grandsons - all three beginning fly fishermen. All have loved the experience and learned a great deal about fly fishing. The guides have been top rate and good instructors.
Outside of the fishing experience - the food, the lodging, and the social time has also been excellent. John and Rebecca are great hosts, friendly and helpful. Sherry (the chef) is an outstanding cook and wonderfully accommodating.
This is a five star outfit and experience without question."

After more than a decade of fishing with Eagle Nest, it remains at the top of best fly fishing experiences. The guides are excellent, as well as the stay at the lodge. Can't wait to get back.

Just returned from a 3 day "Cast n Blast" at Eagle Nest. The fishing was superb (for this novice fly-fisherman), our guide, Sam, was absolutely top tier. The Big Horn River is full of fish and scenery was amazing. We got our limit on Pheasants both days before lunch and killed a few Hungarian Partridge as well. Guides and dogs were excellent. The lodge was great, food was off the charts wonderful/plentiful and the hosts, John & Rebecca were created to run a place like this! You won't spend this money anywhere else and get all you get here. Only bad thing is that I couldn't stay longer. Will be back.

This is a great team supporting your fly fishing experience. From the chief, guides, and management you will not be disappointed. I have stayed at several other lodges fishing the Big Horn and this team out worked them all

This was a bucket list trip, that I didn't even have on my bucket list! The whole staff from our hosts (John & Rebecca), our Chef (Sheri) & all our guides and staff are 5 Star top notch! Food & Fishing are second to none! I definitely recommend this to everyone! MUST DO!!!

You can't beat the combination of great fishing and hospitality that Eagle Nest offers. My wife and I have been going there since 2003. We didn't miss a year until the pandemic. Great to be back.

Best lodge in Valley from the bosses running the joint, food, cleaning staff and every guide. Whether you're the snottiest Fly Fishing nerd or someone just picking up a rod if you don't catch fish (multiple species, multiple ways) and have a great time, you're just a bad listener, the only person to blame is the one staring back at you in the mirror at 4'Aces.

Tip everyone hard when you leave because the Big Horn holds many secrets and, no doubt, you'll want everyone to remember you when you go back. (Also, so you know, there is no spot called Sam's rock).

Once again, Eagle Nest Lodge hits a grand slam!!! From the food, fishing, accommodations, guides, staff, and of course, John and Rebecca Shirley, Eagle Nest is the BEST!!! See you all next year!!!

I would give them 10 stars if I could. Our group had a phenomenal trip. From fishing with the guides to meals and lodging, the attention to detail and overall experience was top notch.

A beautiful lodge, with friendly owners and a high-class cook. I first went there two years ago without ever having fly fished before, and the guides were all very friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a life time experience to Bird hunt, Fish or just simply get out into beautiful county this place is on point with their guides, hospitality and establishment.
