Strolling into the Filson store is like wandering into an alternate reality where the gold rush never ended and everyone's striking it rich – except for you. The prices make you feel like you've just opened your wallet in a strong wind.

As soon as you walk in, the staff greet you with the kind of enthusiasm that says, "We can't wait to sell you a jacket that costs more than a small car." You start to wonder if they work on commission or just really believe everyone who walks in is a secret millionaire.

The clothes, rugged and chic, whisper tales of adventures you can't afford. You half expect the flannel shirts to come with stories of the great outdoors, narrated by a grizzled prospector.

And the salespeople, oh boy, they hover with the keenness of hawks, ready to swoop down with a $300 beanie. They treat you like royalty, and you start to feel like you're letting them down when you wince at the price tags.

You leave the store with a complimentary bottle of water, feeling like you've just been part of a luxurious daydream. It's the reverse Pretty Woman – you want to buy, but your wallet gently weeps, whispering, "Maybe next time, champ." Five stars for making me feel like a billionaire for a solid twenty minutes.

I worked with Colin my first time coming into this store, he was more than professional and took the time answer all my questions and even ship an item to my house that wasn’t available at this location.

Great customer service staff who are very attentive. Although I disagree with Filson moving manufacturing over seas, the good folks here have nothing to do with those decisions. Clean store and lots of great pieces to look at. Will be back!

My boyfriend’s favorite store is Filson and I called before Christmas to see if they had a certain bib. They saved it for me so I could pick it up at the store. The staff was unbelievably helpful with sizing, later we got them hemmed and they were super knowledgeable, prompt, took them to the local tailor and had them shipped to him. He is so excited and I am beyond impressed with the store and it’s staff. Thank y’all so much!

Amazing place with fantastic products from the iconic brand. You really need to visit the store to fully grasp the quality and customer support Filson offers. Store manage Ilya guided me to the best stuff and helped find the out is stock item I had been hunting for. The aesthetic and service make the in-store experience so satisfying. Visited the Filson Boston location recently and was impressed beyond all belief. The location sits well within the downtown landscape and the floor layout of the store is amazing. Parking is ample and within walking distance. What made the Filson Boston store best was that of their employee's/staff. Rhett & Colleen made the experience at the store very welcoming and without a doubt my best Filson store experience to date (Having visited the DC & NYC locations a number of times prior). I have been a loyal customer for the past eight years and plan to remain as such not only because of Filsons Unfailing Goods, but also because of their outstanding team of employees/staff.

Had a repair needed to my backpack, brought it in, and received phenomenal service are handling (enough to be compelled to write this post). They went above and beyond my standards to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. This brand is trusted by me more than any other retailer.

No many stores can culturally and practically bridge the gap between having rugged good looks and still maintain a look suitable and updated for urbane wear.Filson is as hip in a Back Bay winter as it is in the Allagash.

I bought an expensive jacket at Filson seaport. I checked out the jacket about 3 or 4 times at the store before I actually bought it. Low pressure from the team, and I finally bought this jacket.
