It's great! There's free parking. Not sure if many know about this park. I go very often as I live close and I've never seen more than 5 cars parked. It's never crowded. It's not a great place for small children because it's a little swift. There's a boat ramp and few trails to explore.

This has become my go-to spot for photoshoots most of the time! The riverside has a great view of the sky with it, there's lots of trees, and even talk, grassy fields! If you go in the spring there's also an enchanting trail close to the playground that makes for beautiful photos!

During the Covid-19 Park is quiet . Note to who leave reviews , there is Whitehorse rv park and Whitehorse county park . I noticed some reviews have mistaken the parks for one another .

I'm not sure if the negative reviews pertain to Whitehorse RV park or what, but right past that was Whitehorse Campground. It was peaceful, quiet, and clean. The camp host helped us out in a pinch which made our 4th of July so much easier. They have a playground for kids and river access. There were fire pits, tables, and water spouts for cleaning at all sites. Grants Pass was such a pleasant change from camping in Eureka and Crescent City, which were super dodgy towns in Cali. They had one of the most family friendly 4th of July shows at the local park, too. Great town to stop at on the way to Crater Lake.

White Horse Park is one of my favorite Josephine County parks. I have been there quite a bit, especially in the past 7 years, during all seasons. Every visit I have enjoyed a quiet relaxing vibe. Even the camp ground has an easy going vibe. There are quite a few camp sites available for recreation vehicles as well as sites dedicated to tent camping. Lastly there is one yurt that is available for rent. Campers have a 14 day stay length limit. There are decent on-site showers for overnight campers only. There is no day use fee, and if there are daily use hours posted then they are not strictly enforced and I think that's pretty cool.

The yurt site is large and separate. Perfect for a family or group. Nice river access and a large playground. Tall shade trees. The park hosts are very nice and the restrooms are clean.

As you can see we all had a great time. My Granddaughter found a tree frog which she safely returned to the woods. We were having a company get together with 60 plus people. The shelter, playground and campground was clean and well kept.
There is a 5 dollar day use fare but it is well worth it. We got to meet the camp host and ranger and they were friendly and helpful

Whitehorse is a beautiful little park and campground. I usually drive down to the water, sit on the rocks, and enjoy the view and sounds of the river. This is a very peaceful park.

First time ever stay in at this park and my family really enjoyed it for the weekend. I had rented the yurt. I have stayed in quite a few years and I will say that this one is the best that I have stayed in That has a few upgrades to it as well as nice furniture. As well as a deck to lounge off of. I will definitely be renting it it in the future. Even though I only live about 4 miles from the park it was a nice getaway adventure for the weekend.

This campground was absolutely beautiful. The camp host Gary was amazing and so welcoming. We stayed in campsite 9 which is off in a back corner of the campground. It was secluded and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here if you are up in Grant's Pass for camping! They also do rv hook ups and have this really cute yurt that you can book. We look forward to to returning for another amazing camping experience!

Love this park. We had our family reunions at this park in the late 70's and early 80's when there was pavilions. Now the pavilions are gone and the trail to the river is a paved road that leads to a boat ramp. Great spot to look for cool rocks or to spend the day fishing.
