In our 3 days trip to Boston, we wanted to experience an authentic Lobster rolls. I ordered the hot buttered lobster roll which was 30$ ( not cheap).
The food was buttery, a lot of lobster on the roll. It was worth it!
Give this place a try!

Awesome gluten free lobster rolls! They had two options: hot buttered, or cold mayo based lobster salad. Delicious generous hearty chunks of lobster. Not cheap, I believe $30 per roll but worth it.

The establishment is cozy and no frills with limited diner/bar type seating. It feels like authentic Boston. There are photos on the wall of all the famous people that have enjoyed this restaurant.

Kid friendly, my 5 year old nephews loved the grilled cheese and crunchy fries.

Lobster roll was amazing! loaded fries (current special) were great. It's a small place, but the staff was nice, and the food excellent

Had the warm lobster roll, fresh and delicious. Hot dog bun was soaking with butter. Had fries on the side. Small and cozy place.

Ordered:
-Lobsta Roll (Hot): I preferred this over the cold, but maybe because it was 25 degrees outside. The hot butter gave the lobster a little salt which brought out more of the lobsta flavor. Bun was soft and slightly toasted. Yum!!
-Lobsta Roll (Cold): refreshing! I can see this being a go-to in the summer.

Vibe: Small place with limited seating. Probably best to come here when the weather is nice so you can grab your lobsta roll to eat outside. They have pictures on the wall of famous people who have visited.

Would I return?: Yessss!! This is my friend’s favorite place for lobster rolls.

I am a New Englander and I love clam chowder. Pauli’s makes an amazing chowder and is just overall good vibes. A huge selection of great food. Great customer service with smiles, fast, and opens early for early birds like me! Great portions and very reasonable. 10/10 if you’re in the North End and want good eats. STOP READING REVIEWS AND GO THERE!!!

Best damn sandwich shop in the North End. If your hungry ask Felix what you should order, you may end up with a double cheeseburger salad that will blow you away or some other culinary invention he crafts on the spot! If your looking for an authentic deli experience or you just want a really good sandwich fast. This is the place for you! Gluten free option available, accessibility is a little tight but this amazing staff would help make sure you are treated well. If you have the chance to meet Paul, do it, he’s a great friendly guy and he’s worked hard to make a great spot to eat!

The food was absolutely delicious! This is the best hot buttered lobster roll I have ever tasted. My husband enjoyed the fish sandwich. Great atmosphere.

Nice place for a quick bite walking around the north end! Both the lobster rolls and deli style sandwiches were perfect. Limited counter seating for a cozy lunch. They had a huge selection of food that we'll have to try on another visit.

It’s exactly what a lobster roll should be. Drool worthy yumminess! We had the hot and cold, both were delicious.

Their lobster rolls are reasonably priced and very tasty!! The place is pretty small so there isn’t a lot of seating, but it’s still great if you want fast and cheap lobster rolls! Only downside is that the restaurant doesn’t have restrooms available for costumers.

It's a small shop so limited stools to sit in but came in 30 min before close and got the chowder, warm butter lobster roll, and the prosciutto sandwich. The clam chowder was the first time I've had it, was creamy and warm exactly perfect for the rainy day, the lobster roll had so much lobster we put some in the chowder and I wish I could order it like that. The roll melted under the weight of lobster and butter but the bread on the cold prosciutto sandwich was thick and chewy/dense. Overall really enjoyed it and can see why it's featured on Diners drive ins and dives (didn't know until we saw the poster on the wall but made it that much better). We split everything and felt satisfied, lobster went for about $28.

First time trying Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder. Pretty good. The Lobster is fresh enough to jump out of the bread while we're eating 🤣🤣

GREAT sandwiches……a wicked North End vibe. The fried chicken cutlets they use for the sandwiches are amazing……crispy on the outside, moist in the middle and great seasoning in the breading. The rolls they use are so fresh and so are all the ingredients in the sandwich. The Lobster Roll……sooooo worth the hype

A must stop while you are exploring the North End of Boston. I had the lobster roll … hot. Can also order it cold. The lobster was fresh and cooked perfectly. And you get plenty! You’ll meet folks from near and afar while conversing sitting on stools. Worth the splurge 👍

I loved this place!!!! I ate here every single day of my Boston trip. This has hands down the best lobster roll I have ever tried. The workers here treat you like family and help you decide what to get! They put a good amount of lobster on the roll and this place is surprisingly cheaper than surrounding lobster shacks. I 10/10 recommended the hot buttered lobster roll and trust me upgrade to fries from chips. The chowder is also very good, but the star is obviously the lobster roll.

Small but Delicious place to have subs, or sandwiches,or pasta, French fries, every single food they make there is good. Typical Italia restaurant, grab and go. A few spots to sit on. Sandwiches are big so two people can share, they have lots of options to choose from.

Visiting Boston and stopped by Paulis. It was worth it! Very good cold lobster roll. Fresh, plenty of meat served on a hot buttery hot dog bun.
