The movers are quick, professional, detail-oriented, and careful. They communicated well to make sure we knew what to expect. When they moved our stuff into the building, they were so quiet that our neighbors didn't notice. We stored our stuff in their truck for two days. There is no damage when they deliver. We paid less than the quote! We will use them again and will recommend this company.

These guys are the best. We got quotes from many movers and decided to book with Burkhardt due to how professional and honest they seemed. We were lucky that we did. The crew moved fast, didn't try to milk the time and were extremely professional and flexible (we had a lot of variables that made our schedule tight/ Subject to change) and all our stuff was 100% damage free. We will use them for all our moves now.

I have moved 17 times in my life; between college; relocating for jobs, etc so I have a fair amount of experience with moving companies. I can say without reservation that Burkhardt Brothers Moving & Storage is hands down the finest, most professional moving company on the entire eastern seaboard. If you are looking for a fast, efficient, reliable and reasonably priced moving company, look no further. These people are top notch!

I've used Burkhardt multiple times and can't say anything but wonderful things about them. Efficient, careful with your items, very professional movers, good value, and really care about their customers. I'd just advice booking in advance since they are popular.

I cannot say enough great things about Burkhardt Movers. I had a very complicated move - taking items from two different locations to an out of state address. I was amazed at the care they took to protect everything and the ease of breaking things down and reassembling everything at the end of the move. The movers were polite, courteous and extremely efficient. Hopefully I am not moving again in the near future however I will recommend Burkhardt to everyone I know. I did shop around for price and they were extremely competitive. If you are thinking about moving this is the company to use hands down - you will not be disappointed.

I have moved 11 times in 20 years and Burkhardt is hands down, the best mover I have ever had. The crew that showed up had a HUGE job on their hands but did an amazing job loading/unloading...even with a smile on their face. Danny Burkhardt even stopped by at the end of the move to check to see if we were satisfied. No words can do justice to how happy I am that I want with them. Burkhardt Brothers did a great job moving my belongings. Everything arrived at the destination intact, nothing broken, scratched or lost. All boxes and items accounted for. I would use Burkhardt Brothers again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Danny with Burhardt Movers was awesome! After moving to NE from TX, I quickly learned that TX sized furniture is a challenge when accommodating old NE home hallways/stairs and ceilings. Our relocation company was not able to get our king sized bed up to our room. Disheartened because it was BRAND new, they left it in the garage for me to hopefully sell. A friend suggestioned Burkhardt Movers... they came within the week, studied our house with all its angles and BAM!, they were able to get my bed up the stairs into the room that same day! I now have my brand new TX sized bedroom set in our room and sleep soundly every night. Thanks Danny and crew :)

We were moving from about 5500 square feet in Hingham to an apartment in Boston, requiring the household to be moved to three different locations; Nantucket, storage in Weymouth, and the apartment itself. Burkhardt packed, moved, unpacked when requested, and always acted in a professional manner. Moving a 2000 pound safe down a bulkhead to a Nantucket basement was no problem for them. Packing Lladro porcelain figurines with flower petals so thin you can see through them was perfect, as were the figurines when they were unpacked. These people know what they're doing. The actual bill was slightly less than the estimate. I recommend them without reservation.
