Had a great selection of beers on tap for a wide variety of tastes. Everyone at the table found a drink perfect for them. The food was also pretty tasty. The shareable were all well made and the fried chicken sandwich was extra tender. Overall, great for chatting over drinks and small bites!

Difficult to fault the beer in any way - a long list of their own beers on tap and arguably some of the best in the world. Supported by great food, a good atmosphere and friendly staff. What all taprooms want to be when they grow up. Come and worship.

Took some time to be seated as it seemed to be understaff on a Sunday afternoon and a lot of tables were “reserved”. You order at the bar and we had the famous ale and a new type of ale which was very tasty with the exact notes described on the menu. Music was rather loud but once the beer kicked in it was a fun energy

The staff was super kind and knowledgeable. The beers were obviously epic and the food was pretty good.
We did one dollar oysters during happy hour and tried as many beers as we could. They don’t do flights but they do serve small pours.

One of my favorites in the Boston area, and definitely a hit among downtown/walkable breweries in town. Excellent IPAs - lots of range, and from nuanced to heavily hopped. Loved the mussels, too. Classy merch, and plenty of to-go options.

A classic seaport location with great house brewed drinks and great food. The interior is a bit loud since the brick walls reflect all the sound. However, they have roof decks and outdoor patio too. The chicken wings weren’t spicy, but were well seasoned. The chicken sandwich is nicely fried too. Just wish the portion size was a bit bigger. I enjoyed their “fruity” drinks, and they change every season.

This place is wonderful. It’s something that not all American cities can capture. It’s a family friendly brewpub with high end food at good prices. You can sit inside or outside and they even have a roof deck as well as a patio and it’s right in seaport so close to the art market and other shops and bars around here. It’s also close to the tea party tour if you aren’t a local.

I recommend two things. Firstly the mandarin orange beer. It’s basically a mimosa but made out of beer. Tastes very similar and is a 4.2% so great afternoon beer. My wife loved it(and she doesn’t really like beer) and so did I.

Secondly the carrot hummus with homemade pita chips. This was so tasty and they had other great veggie options. Wish I’d had time to try their clam chowder and pita with sunchoke dip so may be back. They also have a $1 oyster happy hour too.

Ambience was great and everyone was really nice and friendly and the crowd was very not bro-y which was awesome. Just a super cool place with tons of interesting beer options. Only negative was a poor offering of non alcoholic items but at least water was endless from the spigot/tank.

Wonderful place. Give it a try.

Great unique beer options! No flights, but was able to split into two 5oz pours for those who are indecisive. Knowledgeable bar staff with good recommendations based on your personal beer preferences. Some options available as take-home 4 packs

We visited Trillium with a party of five on a Saturday night. We were able to get a table with no problem. The two host were very nice and helpful. The PM DAWN was amazing. The single and double IPA’s we’re very good. They have an awesome selection of brews, I wish I could have tasted them all lol. My wife really liked the passion fruit Weiss. I’ve been to a lot of breweries and this by far the best one.The food was very good as well, we ordered the chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, mussels, and clam chowder, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. The place is immaculate. The take out menu is great too.I suggest parking in the parking garage around the corner. This is the best brewery on the east coast and a must visit if your in town.

Amazing brewery in the heart of the city. The servers, waitress were very friendly and service was quick. They gave great varieties of beers, larger, ipa, sour beers etc. It's very crowded on weekend so do make a reservation and go before have. They have some snack food like fries, potatoes and mixed nuts. We loved all the beers.. they are freshly brewed and comes in good quantity. Recommend this place for beer lovers🍺🍻

Excellent beer with a focus on IPA, though their fruited options were great as well. Food was on point with plenty of options. Oyster special is an amazing deal and were very fresh. Large merch selection with quality clothing too.

Beer style diversity is great. I only had beer but if you look at the menu, some are labeled as bottles. For the others, because they are draft beers, you can get 5oz. pours. No flights. IPAs sours and stouts are all excellent.

Loved this bar! The only downside was we had some trouble getting parking then what we found was rather expensive. Outside of that this place is great. The beer is all super unique but done well not just unique to be unique. The food was great and although they were short staffed while we were there the service was great. We were just traveling through Boston but we will definitly look for their beers in the store.

November 2023:
Stopped by for a beer and dinner. Ordered a hazy IPA and a fried chicken sandwich. I enjoyed both. The sandwich came with fries 🍟 which were tasty. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food and 🍻.

2019:
Place was packed and decided to grab cans to go. Tried the Fort Point pale ale and a Melcher Street IPA. Both were fantastic!

Really cool spot and friendly staff. We got sat pretty quickly. We ordered a couple 5 oz pours of their berliner weisse and all were really good. We really liked the Apple Cider and the Passion fruit, Orange Peel, Guava. The Mango and Peach was a little sour but still good.

We didn't order any food here but it looked really good.

This place has a very cool vibe with a great variety of different beer and sour options - even wine slushies. They have a smaller menu, but all of the food was so good. We had to order the fingerling potato appetizer after our entrees because we enjoyed it so much. For entrees we ordered the tuna poké bowl and the kale salad with chicken, which was flavorful and fresh!

I hosted an event here, and they were spectacular from the moment I walked in and was greeted from the host to dealing with Sarah the General Manager!

I would recommend hosting an event here anytime…very accommodating, and can’t get over the kindness from the staff especially Sarah.

Mitch was amazing, he was our server….beyond helpful.

If you’re looking for an original beer house this is it. All in-house brewed beers are available at this location. Super good beers can be had here. Very attentive and educated staff on the beers and oysters 🦪 are here. The public garden IPA is one of the best IPAs I’ve had in my life, I consider myself an IPA connoisseur and these are great!
