Really enjoyed the truffle fries and the biscuit sliders! Bartender Stephanie was friendly, attentive enough but not bothersome (you know what I mean). Menu has a lot of interesting options.

The warm lighting and dark wood drew us in as we slid up to the bar for food and drinks. Fresh baked biscuits and juicy fried chicken were paired with just the right amounts of slaw, pickles, and spice in the Chicken and Biscuit sliders. The truffle fries were covered generously with aged parmesan and came to us perfectly crisp. The slow burn of horseradish in the Alabama white sauce made us want to slap the chef and order another round of wings to go. The food is fantastic! We’ll be back to see Stephanie at the bar and all the great staff at the Playwright.

Had a great experience here with some of my friends post work and on the weekend. Great atmosphere. Great place to watch a game. Great drinks! Our server Eva was extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

Playwright is amazing! Bartenders make amazing drinks and are so personable. It was Anthony’s (bartender) first day and he was absolutely amazing. Made the best drinks, gave us the best service, and was so kind! Nachos were unbelievable!

This is the spot to be for a group of friends for brunch! Amazing selection of brunch food, good portions, and amazing towers! The prices were reasonable too - for about $50 the towers will give you about 10 drinks. We also got a pitcher of the espresso martini and it was a 10/10. And with all that, the servers were so great and the ambiance was super fun. Great music and vibes!!!

Great brunch. Had the chicken and waffles and nachos. Tables were well spaced and had plexiglas dividers. Suggested to make reservations for weekend brunch

Great drinks, good environment and if you are a wing enthusiast like I am, it is by far the best Buffalo wings I have ever had. Perfect level of flavor while maintaining its spicy integrity. Definitely a place to come and check out.

Had the most wonderful service from tommie as well as delicious food. She was so attentive and kind and made sure our food was perfect! My beer was never empty before I had another one on its way! Recommended the nachos and poutine as an appetizer and they were out of this world. Will be back and making sure we request tommie to be our server every time we go

This place really surprised me in a good way! The salad and steak tips were delicious. It wasn't too packed during the day and the bartender Linda provided excellent and friendly service! I highly recommend this place for dinner and drinks!

Had a terrific experience with Hannah as our server. She was so attentive, and created such a fun atmosphere for us. The drinks were exceptional, especially the desert rose. The nachos were to die for. Can’t wait to go back!

Went to Playwright with a group of 8 friends and had an amazing experience! Our waitress Hannah was fantastic and very attentive! She ensured we had a great experience! The drinks and nachos were delicious and the atmosphere was fun with great music.

The buffalo cauliflower is worth traveling for. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Its never packed during lunch hours, and they have about 6 flat screens cover most of the walls & bar space. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is extremely hospitable. I haven't tried the rest of the menu, but all the food i've seen others eat looks delicious. I usually like to call and order ahead of time so my food comes out as soon as i sit down. No parking, but if you're there for lunch, street parking won't be difficult to find.

The food and service here was very good. I had a few mishaps the order(we had 2 special orders). The taste of the food was very nice. Staff was great and food didn't take long to come to our table. I had a very nice time at your establishment. I will be FREQUENTING your place again.

Went for an NFL Sunday and was especially impressed with our waitress Hannah who made our experience an absolute blast!! Such good service and super friendly. That bar should give her a raise !! Music and vibes are great too

Excellent service & best buffalo chicken wrap around! Outdoor seating, lots of TV’s inside for sports games, delicious drinks and a fun / lively environment. All of the staff is super friendly but I’ve had Hannah & Tommie a few times and they make my visits so fun!

Tommie is hands down the best waitress I’ve had! She recommended the poutine which was so yummy. I had to stop myself from ordering a second plate! I would definitely recommend the Playwright Bar for great service, delicious food and fun atmosphere.
