St. Anthony Shrine

I try to stop by here every time I’m around the area, even if just for a few minutes. It brings me joy and a calmness to say a quick prayer in here. They have confession every day, which I absolutely love, and their daily mass is quick for when you’re in a hurry. I recommend stopping by here!

A very nice place of worship. The staff were very welcoming telling me when the services are and that conffession was open. They also had many candle stations to light and pray. They also said I am welcome to pray if I wish. I loved the architecture as there were many interesting sights it is worth it for that if you are not religious. See the many photos I took.

Wonderful morning Mass in a large store-front shrine. Beautiful art. Nice to have early morning options when traveling. Walkable from the Boston Seaport area (1.5 miles or so)

Amazing church. Absolute visit when you are in Boston. It's right in the city center and has accessible parking and entrance. Lot of seating for everyone. It also has a bluebike station right outside for easy transportation. Filled with His presence. Sunday mass times are on the website.

I am not Catholic but I love these guys. When I worked in the city they were always there to help those in need. I saw them more than once helping the homeless on the street and they were always patient and gentle. Calming way about them.

For me the best place to visit for worship and prayer. The brothers and priests are always very warm and welcoming. The archstreet band plays the best worship music to even make the atmosphere warm solemn and welcoming. As they say "All are welcome in this place".

Every Christmas I attend mass at 10 am. It truly is the most amazing service the music and singing of the Christmas Carol's bring me back to my childhood. I still know all the words. It's the perfect way to start your Christmas. Merry Christmas may God Bless America.

I can't recommend St. Anthony's Shrine enough it's a beautiful Shrine, the priests are amazing, and they offer daily confession.

Peaceful place in a busy city to pray, do a Confession( plenty of convenient hours!) Shrines are so beautiful!!! The Franciscan Friars of. Holy Name Province work MIRACLES with all the programs they sponsor!( Healthcare for the Homeless just One of at least 10 more-!!!) Great Mass Cards of all Intentions in lobby for sale( reasonable $) I can't say enough about this oasis in a busy city!!

I worked at federal reserve Bank in 1951. And a collection of 25 cents we gave every so often to build the arch st. Chapel! It was beautiful and I am proud to have had a part in the chapel. God bless

I grew up in Boston and have been coming here for years. It's such a warm and peaceful place to be. The priests are all so nice to talk to. I live in NH now, but try to get here at least once a week, sometimes more.

As a visitor to Boston , a lovely older gentleman invited me to mass. I have been blessed to have attended mass on several continents. The sermon delivered on Monday 5:15 mass was so beautiful and different from any I had ever heard in a Catholic Church. As a sinner, I feel inspired to be a better child of God. Thank you!

Spiritual place in the heart of Boston, peace and good.

A great location right in downtown Boston! If the Sox are playing on a Sunday you can stop here for Mass and then go see the game. Beautiful architecture inside.

What I really appreciate most about this place though is they are open on Ash Wednesday for people with busy work schedules. You can get in and out quickly on foot on a lunch break or on your way past. This is really appreciated!!

St. Anthony Shrine is a beautiful church in the heart of downtown Boston. The friars and the staff are very welcoming. The choir is amazing. I have been going there for years and the nicest church I have been to.

A wonderful and beautiful Catholic church and shrine. Great confession and Mass schedule and wonderful friars. Arch Street Band is great too!

Peaceful sanctuary around the corner from bustling downtown crossing. The shrine features mosaics, nativities, beautiful statues, and candles lit to honor loved ones. The Franciscan friars make you feel right at home.
