La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond - Kings Dominion

NICE HOTEL! For my job, I travel extensively! I've stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this LaQuinta was exactly what I needed after driving 350 miles! I had no issues with my room whatsoever, and the front desk lady was nice and friendly! My room was clean and cozy, as was the bed! I got a good night sleep thanks to LaQuinta! BTW...I don't understand the haters here leaving 1 star!! Stop hating! This LaQuinta is an excellent hotel!! When I'm driving on I-95, and near Kings Dominion, I'll definitely stay overnight at this LaQuinta Inn! Thank you!

During our stay, there were upgrades happening. Staff was friendly and nice. Check in and out was painless. We stayed during Thanksgiving and it was very quiet. Breakfast was available and hot/fresh. Honestly the only negative thing I have is the firmness of the bed. My husband didn't mind.

Decent hotel, and exceptional value for what we paid. We needed a place for 5 people the night after Kings Dominion trip. This filled the bill perfectly. We put 175 into a 2 queen 1 king suite and found just that . The room was spacious and clean , beds were soft, and Fridge was cold. Nothing to complain about we got what we wanted and it worked out well. They even let us park one of our cars there in the morning so we didn't have to pay to park 2 cars at the theme park. would use again if we return to the area

Nice little stay. Good size room with a king bed. Room was clean and the HVAC wasn't obnoxious. TV tech was a little odd but didn't look at it much. Enjoyed the self-serve breakfast immensely. The pool was perfect for what we wanted. Looked like a good workout room is available. Generally a wonderful experience

Was traveling through from Maine and needed rest. It was 3am and every surrounding hotel had no one at the front desk. Except this place! The lady at the front desk was pleasantly nice and understood our situation and helped us out.

The hotel was clean the beds were so comfortable and I loved the sitting area in the room so I could sit and watch TV without laying on the bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious the make your own waffles were a hit and the coffee was the best I ever tasted. The hotel staff was friendly and a great help . I would defiantly stay again and recommend to anyone. I have to be truthful I didn't like the pool area there was way to much chlorine my eyes were burning in the hall way so I couldn't. 't get in. I had to call down for more rags and towels if I say five people are staying there shouldn't be only three rags and towels then I was asked to come down and pick them up because they were very busy. I was very impressed so my family and I will only be staying at La Quinta hotel .

The hotel was a good deal and was a good location. The room and bathroom were clean, with all the amenities needed. The walls were a bit thin, but it’s more of a muffled sound and it is not too bothersome for the great price you pay. The people were super friendly too! I got in and out quickly and breakfast was yummy.

Much better than expected for the price. Nice, renovated front desk area. Polite, helpful staff. Clean, updated room. Pool was clean and PH & chlorine tracked on the wall. Good sign. Breakfast good for being free.

We stayed in the La Quinta at Kings Dominion. I am now a huge fan of La Quinta. The staff was so friendly. I felt like one of the family. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the free continental breakfast was one of the best we have had. I love when there is hot food available. Although we don’t have pets, we loved that this is a pet friendly hotel. My kids loved seeing the dogs pass by us in the lobby. Now every time I see a LaQuinta, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. It made quite the impression!

Nice size room, comfortable large bed, helpful attentive staff, great coffee (almost never say that), very good rate. Pool! ..nice. Large screen TV with basic channels but the WiFi is fast. Room a tad dusty but I say that most places. Great value, will stay again.

We stayed one night and we loved it! It is clean with friendly staff. Breakfast is fine for a 2 star hotel. Some customers are pigs but hotel staff has nothing to do with it. In general, it is a wonderful hotel (you cannot expect it to be like 5 star hotel!) abs we will stay again!

Chill, laid back hotel with awesome staff, indoor pool, fitness center, pet friendly at no extra charge for two pets. Great rooms that are extremely clean, quiet,and fully loaded with all the bells and whistles of an expensive hotel. Free easy access high speed wifi. I will never stay at any other hotel chain. We will drive until we find a La Quinta Inn. Excellent stay. Hands down.

My fiancé and I came for our anniversary weekend getaway and were very pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. Very clean and updated, Pantene toiletries and a makeup remover wipe (you don’t normally find good quality toiletries), the hotel and the elevator actually had a very pleasant smell, and the breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, muffins, boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt bar, toast selections, 3 types of French roast coffee, a variety of flavored creamers including pumpkin spice, and juice selections. Well worth every penny and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Very good rooms and beds were very comfortable with a sofa bed in every room for travelling with extra guests. Breakfast was one of the best in a hotel that I've had in a very long time and the satff were very helpful in ensuring we have all that we needed. The pool and business center were also very well equipped and were great to have even in an overnight stay. Would definitely recommend

The hotel was a bit outdated but you cannot beat the location when visiting King’s Dominion. However, Isaiah is a complete and total asset to the brand. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was welcoming, helpful and resourceful. We booked a few rooms separately but traveled as a large party, we were all able to agree though that Isaiah was amazing when discussing our stay amongst the group.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Pet friendly and they have a big bowl of dog bones for your fur babies. They don't actually have semi truck parking. But there is a truck stop across the road with a big parking lot.

Great value. The room was nice, clean, and offered all basic amenities. The breakfast was great, the options offered included hot and cold items. This hotel was the best value I have found and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a room for 1 OR Multiple nights.

I can’t rate something I never visited I actually sent an Uber for someone.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Good bed and quiet sleep. Plenty of convenient and well-lighted parking. Good breakfast options.

This may not be the most luxurious hotel, but it is really good value for the money. You get a fold-out couch, clean rooms, an indoor pool, a sundry, Good breakfast, and friendly staff. Plus, it's pet-friendly.
