Urban Roast

So this is basically Boston Market but allowed to be purchased via UberEats. Different packaging but still the same exact menu. Other differences is that my whole chicken came cut in half so that it fit into their packaging rather than the usual plastic Boston Market box.

I placed my order for a full chicken and 4 sides and when my order arrived my GrubHub delivery person tried to hand it to me and the bag ripped at the bottom spilling all my food on the floor. The driver apologized offering to return to the restaurant if I was able to contact them and straighten out my order. I called and spoke with an associate who asked me what happened and in response she proceeded to tell me that the manager said it wasn't their fault unless it fell on the floor at the restaurant. To which I responded by saying, the food was improperly packaged and it was neither the driver's or my fault since I didn't even get to touch the food until I had to pick it up off my doorstep. After that I asked to speak with the manager and she put me on hold for nearly 10 minutes while I could hear them talking about me and preparing other people's orders in the background. I finally hung up and called back again but no one answered. I had to call back 5 times to get an answer when a woman named, Candace I think, gruffly answers the phone already raring to go with an attitude. Before getting upset I calmly explained to her what happened after which time she rushed me to explain what I ordered and said they would remake my order. She said she didn't know how she would get the order back out to me but she would get it done since it was through GrubHub. Right before she hung up she said that I was getting on her nerves. Now here I am an hour later and still no food or response from the restaurant. Frankly at this point I'd be concerned about the integrity of the food but that defeats the principle. I paid for a service and received nothing for it. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone just based on the treatment I received today. I have never been treated so poorly in my life, that's coming from someone who has worked in restaurant and customer service for many years so I understand the struggle but that was just down right wrong.
