My husband was admitted into the hospital, and we wanted to thank the entire staff for a job well done. You all not only took good care of my husband, you all made sure that I was informed about what was going on with my husband and you always made sure that I was okay as well. So again my husband and I will like to say thank you once again, too the entire staff at for a job well done 👏

Have to admit, I’ve seen/heard some negative comments regarding UF Health, The Villages Hospital. Imagine my surprise that I would have utilized the hospital, since I just recently moved into the area. I suffered what turned out to be a minor medical episode while at a local restaurant in the Villages. I was shocked to learn that the rescue squad that had arrived was there for me…anyway, the guys from Station 41 (& 1 from 51 who was on overtime) could not have been any more compassionate and competent in their patient care of me. The guys even helped my wife program the hospital location into her maps so she could meet me at the hospital. Once at the hospital I was treated by a care team who did their absolute best to make me as comfortable as possible (thank you Cassandra and her team) I was seen by the attending physician Dr Spry, who was absolutely amazing. I was treated and released within a short period of time…I would have no hesitation at all in returning to this facility (although I hope I don’t have too).

Nurse Lindsay is an absolute standout having spent some time in the hospital hospitals been around numerous nurses for over 50 years. This lady is a premier professional if I had a choice I would always want to have her sled or someone like her. Be responsible for my care thank you nurse Lindsey your a God send.

Went to emergency room for an issue. Staff and doctors could not have been more caring and helpful. All areas of hospital were clean and meticulous. No problems whatsoever.

My nurses, Rachel in the Emergency Room & Marco on the 2nd floor were amazing. They made sure I was informed & comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m grateful to both of them. Then Ronni (Ronicia) my tech went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything that I needed with a smile on her face. She has a great attitude and made my stay easier to handle. I can’t leave out James in the cafeteria. Ya Mon-Thank you for getting my meals to me also with a smile. Even Debbie the housekeeper was a blessing, very sweet & cleaned the room immaculately.
I was there 11 days & was treated like a Queen. The doctors were very thorough & knowledgeable. This is definitely my hospital from now on- thank everyone!!☺

Went for chest pain and congestion in emergency room. Everyone was efficient and friendly.
I almost didn't go there after reading the negative reviews. I am glad I went and saw for myself.

I was slightly hesitant to go to this ER because of the reviews. However, I am so thankful I wasn't persuaded away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly faces and words. Due to privacy, I won't mention names, but the ED Nurse was amazing. The empathy she showed, as well as the knowledge she passed on was really comforting and calmed my anxiety. The registrant (for lack of a better title) was equally friendly, yet professional. Good conversation does indeed soothe the soul. I dealt with 10 different people during my visit, and I don't have a bad thing to say about anyone, I could write a glowing paragraph about each. Upon arrival, I was taken to a very nice ER room right away! The tests were done quickly and efficiently! They have posted reasonable times how long (in hours) you may be expected to wait for the each type of result. EKG, Urine, Blood, X-Ray, Ultrasound, etc. Each step was explained fully. I could not have been more pleased with my care! Seriously, I hope you never need to go to the ER, but if you do, I hope your experience is as good as mine.

I had to take my husband to The Villages ER yesterday. Great experience! Everyone was kind, calm & understanding. Highly impressed with the staff. High five to everyone and thank you.

I’m a new Villager and my oncologist is here. Everyone was friendly and professional. I didn’t have to wait hardly at all. It’s a beautiful building and they keep it clean. The nurses I met are great and they accommodate your needs above and beyond. My doc was knowledgeable and, when I wasn’t understanding, explained things to me. I especially love that I can get almost everything done here. I don’t have to drive around looking for an imaging center, etc. I will be back.

I recently got discharged after having surgery and all though I was skeptical abt going to this ER/Hospital at first because of the low ratings but I soon found out how compassionate the nurse staff was and how attentive they were to my needs. The only complaint I would have to give is how rude the night ER staff was when I first arrived but after I went up to my private room the other nurses made me feel very comfortable and safe. I would recommend going here.

My husband had shoulder replacement surgery 8/22/23. From the moment we arrived at 7am until we left about 1pm everyone was fantastic. Every single person was professional, competent and pleasant and caring. The personal attention was outstanding!

We had an excellent experience at UF Health The Villages. My wife received initial care for a very significant gastro-intestinal issue at the UF Health urgent care facility on highway 44 in The Villages, then was transported and cared for at the hospital. All of the staff at the hospital were very empathetic and extremely professional. We are new to this area and did not know what to expect and we wanted to share our positive comments about this facility.

This place is huge and offers a lot of medical services for the elderly. There is a guy on a golf cart who drives around to pick you up and deliver you up front.

I would just like to say that this was a very good hospital for me during a recent stay for a knee replacement. Dr. Williams and his team were amazing, the nursing care was outstanding, the physical therapist, and all of those who took care of me during my stay were terrific, including the social worker, the food service workers, and the chaplain. I really appreciated all the physicians and nurses who got me through this procedure and I would definitely recommend this hospital and Dr. Williams team.

I was treated on four occasions with kindness and respect. I have not one complaint as long as you are coming in by ambulance not ER🚑

The two times family members have been rushed to the Emergency Room for heart attack symptoms. They have been extremely well taken care of. Admission to the Cath Lab was quick and seamless. They both were in ICU recovering within hours of arriving in the EMERGENCY room. Both times I noticed in the waiting room folks who drove themselves in apparent little discomfort complaining about the wait, while codes and heart attacks were being called on the overhead speakers. Folks, the Emergency room is for extreme pain, or bleeding Trauma, heart attacks and strokes, as well as severe trouble breathing or high fevers… please the bursitis, ankle sprain or flu symptoms can be treated at your doctor or local walk in.

My experience with the ER Staff and hospital staff was very positive. Treatment was quick, efficient and personable.
