Publix Pharmacy at Shops of Sebastian

I work at this location, it's a very busy pharmacy and always get my prescriptions here. People complain about the wait times, but they all work really hard. You can pay online and pick it up in about 20 minutes if you don't want to wait around in the store or have to leave and comeback. Very professional staff and have never had an issue. Understand that, if someone there comes off as rude they're probably stressed from the workload and it's nothing to be taken personal. Nicest people I've ever met in any pharmacy.

Folks here are always friendly and helpful. Tate, the new pharmacist, reminded me about a shot I needed! Got it right there on site! Shoutout to Keri and all the other pharmacy techs who put up with me!

Had to pickup a first time prescription for a family member. I brought an expired rx card. The male Pharmacist on night of Fri 11/20 could not have been more patient and nicer to deal with as I fumbled throught cards looking for correct one. I ended up coming back next morning of 11/21 and worked with him again. New card had not arrived so I gave him info given to me over the phone, again so patient. Publix will be my Pharmacy from now on. Great service.

I just gotta say that this is one of the best Publix stores around and that Vinnie in Customer service is a delight. He makes me laugh every time I am there and he handles things with expertise and without a hassle. I watch him handle many things at one time and he does it very well. And while I am handing out compliments, all the guys in the meat dept are so very accommodating. I can be quite picky at times and they always handle my requests with out a problem. Good job, Publix. You have great people!

Great pharmacy!

They tend to not refill when using automated system. When you do get a message that it's done, on several occasions I've gotten there and it's not.

I was told, 'We don't do that here.." when I asked the pharmacy to check if a medication was in stock. I was happy with all thier other store services, so I wanted to do business with them.
Having my doctor send multiple prescriptions out to stores only to find out they don't have it is unreasonable.
I asked for the pharmacist who, to her credit, checked it out for me. The first rep mentioned to the pharmacist, "We may have a problem." The first rep felt the need to scream at me right before I asked to speak to the pharmacist.

Prescriptions are messed up every month. Never fails.

I’m in utter shock, I’m going through one of the hardest times of my life, I lost my pregnancy and was prescribed a medication from my doctor to help pass everything, the pharmacist Tate refused to fill my medication which I’m in desperate need of, to deny me that right was just SICK.
I called a different pharmacist at a Vero beach location she had the medication filled in 15 minutes no issues at all.
TATE you’re in the wrong profession if you’re going to deny a woman medication when she’s going through a heartbreaking miscarriage.
I hope you can learn to have some compassion for depressed mothers who lost their baby from miscarriage!

I’ve been using this pharmacy for 12 years now. Each year it gets worse and worse. They’ve reached a level of complete incompetence and lack of basic comprehension and care for their customers. Literally a problem every single time I go there now. Staff lacks the ability to use basic common sense and courtesy in dealing with customers and it’s readily apparent that they truly could care less.

My dad was unable to refill his pain medicine on the day it was supposed to filled. I spoke to a lady that works there & asked why my dad couldn't refill his medication when the prescription clearly said to be filled on the exact day I went in. Short story short- she argued with me & called my father an addict for no reason and mentioned "If we gave this medicine to anyone can you imagine how many addicts like your dad would be roaming around" extremely unprofessional & some people do suffer from chronic pain like my dad, but that does not mean he's an addict. Publix management needs to recheck there staff in the Pharmacy.
