Axum Coffee

I was there for the first time ever on January 13 2024. They still had Christmas decorations but it was 50 degrees in Florida. Had an almond croissant that was good. Enjoyed a 16 oz heavenly toffee drink! Drink was made in 5 minutes.

Been coming here for over a year and the service has always been immaculate! Will, Alex, and Abby are few of the amazing staff who work there. They know when I come in what I get and always make me feel welcome! Especially big shoutout to Will who listens to me ramble on about my book. If you need a beverage with a great atmosphere go to Axum!

Really nice coffee shop with a good amount of seating located in downtown Winter Garden. The employees were friendly, and the Chai Tea Latte was absolutely amazing. Definitely a great place to enjoy an evening coffee at.

This was our first time visiting this coffee shop and found it a pleasant visit. Good coffee and plenty of seating. We would definitely go back.

Really awesome coffee shop! This was my second time visiting. I ordered my usual lavender honey iced latte with oatmilk. It was really good and not overpriced! Service was super friendly. Nice place to sit, chill, catch up on work or coffee meet up with friends!

Amazing! One of the best coffees I've ever had! Probably the best in town! Coffee was sooo smooth it's almost unreal. I guess if you prefer more of a tangy/sour taste, this place isn't for you. But if you're like me loving smooth tasting coffee, this is it. Place is also super cozy and quiet. It's a good place for creatives to work and for people to just enjoy a good company. Haven't tried their food yet, so i guess I'll need to come back! Love it!

I came over to this part of town to check out the food hall, and while I was doing all my perusing and purchasing and eating, I needed a coffee, of course. Axum Coffee is right up front and center as you enter the building, easy. Sold. I don't remember what I got exactly.

I commandeered the counter employee to help me build a drink. I knew I wanted something cold, hazelnutty, sweet but not too sweet, with an extra shot, and they helped me build the perfect drink.

I sipped on that thing for about 10 minutes, because I'm a glutton, but I did enjoy every sip. Thank you, Axum, I can comfortably say that every time I come to the food hall, I will be stopping by.

Got a delicious shot of espresso, nice sweetness and acid. Staff was super nice and friendly. Got three bags of their coffee beans for home. Would recommend!

First time visiting Axum. Ordered a decaf mocha frappe with whipped cream. It was the best one I’ve had in a long time. My husband ordered a latte which was good as well. He was also given the option of having his latte in a real mug or takeout cup. I liked that. The place was busy and a little narrow. The tables inside were mainly taken up by people who were working on laptops, but we found a table outside at which to sit. The service was great. Took a little time to receive our coffee concoctions and there wasn’t a lot of room in which to stand, but it was worth the wait. Will return again.

Excellent coffee!! I got the espresso mocha with whipped cream - not to bold, not too sweet, just perfect mixture of contents. I also got the Asiago bagel with cream cheese - the bagel was fresh, soft, and tasty. The chocolate cake was also delicious!! It is enough for two people to share, unless you love sweets then it is also perfect for one person. The interior and exterior of this location was clean and tidy. The workers were so kind and friendly. The location wasn’t crowded at all, but that could be the timeframe and day that I went here, which was 4pm to 6:30pm. The interior is quiet enough for someone to come do work or even home work. It’s the perfect location for a lunch date or just a relaxing vibe. There’s a great selection of furniture to sit on. For instance, there’s sofas, couches, wooden chairs, and aluminum chairs outside. Great location for great coffee!

Love this little coffee house! Great desserts and breakfast items, plus delectable coffees, teas, and hot chocolate! The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and modern. And they're conveniently located in the up-and-coming heart of downtown Winter Garden! I highly recommend them!

Cute place for a coffee date! We made the mistake of going on a Saturday morning, forgetting about the Farmer's Market taking place at that time. Despite the large amount of people milling around, we were able to get a table, both inside and out. I really liked my iced mocha latte, and the staff were friendly and funny.

Jamari was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I got the cold brew with brown sugar and oatmilk.

Oh it’s awesome!! You can go to meet up with friends and get a small snack/drink or you pull an 8 hour study session like me! There’s a loungy couch, two person tables, bar stools seating, and a massive table for group projects/friend groups. It’s a great cafe, the food/drink is great, and staff is lovely, it’s good!

I loved it. It was my first time visiting. The only thing that I would recommend is that they have a highchair. I was in the neighborhood and picked this spot so I could sit and have a cup of coffee as I fed my baby. Unfortunately they do not have highchairs so I had to leave her in the stroller to feed her.

Axum is a must go to for any coffee lover, my wife and in-laws have been praising this place for years... definitely worth it, the heavenly toffee and crem brulee signature drinks are amazing.

Axum Coffee is such a cute tidy local coffee shop that I highly recommend. It can get very busy at times but overall its cute and chill. Tall windows allow natural light in and the seating/decor is very inviting and comfortable. If you're in the area drop by and check it out. Coffee is great especially their chi tea latte!

What to say about Axum Coffee?

What a great coffee shop and breath of fresh air. It works like many coffee shops you visit but it feels great to get that big store product delivered in a mom-and-pop kind of way.

We just had a simple latte but quality was great. If you mess up a latte, you're in trouble, but if you make it taste like a specialty drink when I didn't even ask for a flavor shot, you're good with me!

Highly recommend it!

My household are big fans of Axium. The folks that work here are clearly passionate about coffee and make a lovely iced Americano. Watching the folk measure and weigh the freshly ground beans (made onsite btw!) and evaluate with a sharp eye is a fun joy in itself. I love supporting a locally owned and operated company with people who really care about the craft. Their people are always so kind, upbeat and overall awesome. Nix Dunks, Starbucks, Foxtail and go to Axum for the real deal. Cant wait to have my coffee fix again soon.
